If so, this review is for you.

By the time you're done reading you'll understand if this company is right for you.

Let's get into it!

Green Compass Global Summary

Company: Green Compass Global

Price to join: $49.95 to $299.95

Rating: 30/100

Do I recommend? No!

Summary: CBD is blowing up and there's a million different CBD products being introduced into the market every month.

There's also a ton of new MLM CBD companies too and they're all pretty much the same. I definitely don't recommend you join this company for many reasons and the main reason is the chance for success is very low and the products are WAY overpriced.

You're going to have a hard time making sales because of this.

Green Compass Global FAQ'S

1) What is Green Compass Global? Green Compass Global is a new MLM company out there and is headed by R. Sterling Cook, Meredith Cook, Brooks Bailey, Adam Wooten and Sarah Nilsen.

2) What products are sold here? Green Compass Global sells various CBD products from extracts, creams, patches and bath bombs.

3) How do you make money here? Like I said before Green Compass Global is a MLM and this stands for Multi-Level Marketing.

With these kinds of companies you sign up to sell their products on your own and you make commissions for these sales. Also, you get compensated for recruiting people into the system and building your downline.

4) Are there similar similar companies out there? CBD MLM's are growing in popularity and there's many of these companies including Emris, Prime My Body, hempSMART, Zilis, Kannaway, CTFO, Hempworx and more.

Is Green Compass Global A Pyramid Scheme

Many people consider all MLM's to be pyramid schemes and I get why people say this (MLM's are a bad way to make money and people tend to hate them).

The truth is, though, pyramid schemes are illegal in just about every country in the world.

Now are there MLM's that are pyramid schemes? Absolutely.

But the definition of a pyramid scheme is pretty specific and Green Compass Global probably doesn't fall under the definition but it definitely has elements of a pyramid scheme.

To understand what I mean, look at the picture below:

This is what part of the commission structure at Green Compass Global looks like and it's the part that rewards recruitment/building a downline.

An illegal pyramid scheme would only look like this. This happens when there's no real product being sold and just recruiting is happening.

However, at Green Compass Global you can make money with retail sales and without recruitment.

As long as retail sales make up the majority of sales it's not a pyramid scheme.

MLM's Are Hard To Succeed With

MLM's are one of the hardest ways to make money and believe it or not some studies show that 99% of people that join one end up losing money instead of making.

Most people that make money only make a couple hundred a month as well.

There's many reasons for this and the main reason is the recruitment. The most profitable way to make money with a MLM is to build your downline and most people don't appreciate being recruited.

In fact, many people resent it and it can cause friction with friends and family members.

Another reason MLM's are very hard to succeed with is the products these companies offer tend to be luxury and over priced.

Many MLM products can cost 3 or 4 times more than competitors which is a problem you'll have with Green Compass Global.

Below is some more MLM stats that are pretty mind blowing:

As you can see MLM's just aren't a good business model and you should avoid them at all costs.

Price To Join

The price to join is pretty reasonable and you join by purchasing a kit or pack. There's two options and they are:

  • Basic Business Kit ($49.95)
  • CORE Start Success Pack ($299.95)

The difference between the options is the second comes with products and the first doesn't.

Green Compass Global Compensation Plan

MLM compensation plans are always very difficult to understand and most people couldn't understand them on their own.

Here's the thing about Green Compass Global's compensation plan - they don't make it available online.

This is a major red flag and most MLM's that do this usually are trying to hide something. Basically to get it you have to sign up or talk to a distributor (obviously they're going to trying to convince you to join when going over the plan).

I found a few videos online that go over the business opportunity as a whole but they're close to a hour long.

Instead of boring you with details I'm just going to summarize how the compensation plan looks broadly and give you an idea of what you'd have to do to make money.

Affiliate Ranks

There's various affiliate ranks you can reach and you go from one rank to another by hitting certain goals and you get bonuses for going from on rank to another.

You typically have to sell a certain amount, recruit a certain amount of people and have your downline sell a certain amount of goods to move up ranks.

The truth, though (and this is true with all MLM's), most people don't get past the first couple of ranks.

Retail Commissions

This is the part of the compensation plan that rewards sales to customers. In Green Compass Global you either buy products at discount and sell them or direct people to the online store.

When someone goes to buy a product from the Green Compass Global website they'll be prompted to put in your information. It looks like following:

This makes sure you get credited with the sale (if they decide to put your information in.

Residual Commissions

This is the part of the compensation plan that rewards recruitment and building your downline.

First off, you get a commission whenever the person you recruit buys a product pack when they start up.

But this isn't the main way you make money through recruitment. The main way you make money is recruiting and earning from your downline's overall sales.

This is done either through a unilevel compensation plan which looks like the following:

Or it can be done in a binary fashion which looks like the following:

How much you earn from or from what level you earn to depends on your affiliate rank, how many recruits you have and the amount your downline sells.

Various Bonuses

Basically all MLM compensation plans come with extra bonuses you can earn that go towards car payments, travel, and certain matching bonuses.

Green Compass Global Products

Green Compass Global sells various CBD products and here's some of their most popular products:

Extracts

There's various CBD extracts here that range from 500mg strength all the way to 2500mg strength. These retail from $84.95 to $329.95.

Creams

The creams come in two different strengths and one is 150mg and the second is 300mg.

Skin Patches

There's two different skin patches you can purchase and one has 1 patch and the second has 3 patches. The first is priced at $14.95 and the second is priced at $39.95.

For Pets

There's a CBD extract for your pets as well and this is priced $49.95.

Soaks

The soaks are products that go in a bath and these are priced at $34.95.

These Products Are Pricey

CBD is exploding and I've seen hundreds of these brands and companies pop up everywhere.

Every podcast I listen to is sponsored by a CBD product and many athletes are promoters as well.

There's. Literally. A. Million. CBD. Products. Out. There.

Consumers have options in terms of quality, price and the kind of CBD they take.

So if you approach someone to buy CBD oil for $99 when there's options for half that price that are well reviewed, which are they going to buy?

Obviously they're going to go with the cheaper option if the quality is good.

These CBD products offered by Green Compass Global are very expensive and it's going to be a major problem when it comes to selling them.

What I Like About Green Compass Global

Overall I don't like this company to join but there's a few things I like including:

  • Hot market: CBD is blowing up at the moment and will probably have at least a couple more years of being hot. It might be a little late to try and get a business growing because there's a lot of competition but there still may be time.
  • Not too pricey to join: You basically just have to pay $49.95 to sign up if you don't want a product pack. That's a reasonable price to join a MLM and many other ones cost 10 times that price and more.

What I Don't Like About Green Compass Global

There's more here to not like than to like and the main things I dislike are:

  • Low chance of success: MLM's are so hard to succeed with and most people just end up losing money - this is just how the business model is set up and really doesn't matter which MLM you join.
  • Overpriced products: The products offered by this company are just too expensive. Even if they're very high quality you can find equal quality for much less.
  • Hiding compensation plan: Most MLM's will give you their compensation plan online but Green Compass Global doesn't. That's very suspicious to me and probably means there's something in there they don't want people like me seeing (maybe autoshipment requirements).
  • Bothering friends and family: One of the worst aspects about MLM's is often times you have to bother friends and family to make sales and recruit. This can strain relationships and I promise Green Compass Global isn't worth that.

Is Green Compass Global A Scam?

So at the end of the day there's two questions to answer:

1) Is Green Compass Global a scam

2) Should I join

To the first one I say this company probably isn't a scam. The only reason I say "probably" is because I haven't seen the full compensation plan. There could be something hidden in there that would make me call it a scam.

But at the end of the day there's real products here.

To answer the second question I would say no. Just because something isn't a scam doesn't mean you should join.

Green Compass Global is a bad business opportunity.

The odds of making money are not going to be in your favor and you'll more than likely just lose money.

I'd stay clear of this company.
