What is Commission Machine?

Commission Machine is the brainchild of Michael Cheney, a long-time internet marketer. He created Commission Machine, a 7-module video course where he teaches people how to earn more than $2,000 daily by promoting affiliate products through effective email marketing.

Your experience (or the lack of it) doesn't matter when you take this email marketing course. Michael Cheney claims that you can be a successful internet marketer even though you don't have relevant experience or money.

Maybe having relevant experience isn't necessary when you take this training course, but you definitely need to have a bit of money saved as the 7-module video training course is far from free.

Read on to learn more about Commission Machine and to know if you're really going to earn a lot of money from it.

How Does it Work?

You'll need to purchase a series of instructional video modules that will train you how to use email marketing in promoting affiliate JVZoo products, as well as how to effectively monetize it.

This training course contains 7 modules, and was created by long-time internet marketer, Michael Cheney. So how does it work?

Once you get past the upsells (we'll talk more about these upsells later on), it then takes you to the member dashboard. You'll click on Core Training, and it will take you to the 7 video modules.

The first video is the introduction or Getting Started video. It's a little more than 3 minutes long, and it contains a brief introduction on Cheney's RAPID formula. (RAPID stands for Research, Angle, Provide, Incentives, and Deploy.)

The second video module is labeled Research. In this training video, Cheney explains how you can find products in JVZoo that will likely be profitable.

It is followed by the Angle video module where he trains his students on how to find a good angle to catch their subscribers' attention, as well as the ways to persuade potential buyers to purchase the products.

In the fourth video module, Cheney trains his students how to grow their commissions by adding bonuses. This is followed by the video module titled Messages wherein he shows his students how to craft effective follow-up emails.

The sixth video is called Deploy where students will learn about third party email marketing and landing page software (free trial only; you will need to purchase these once the free trial expires).

The last video module is titled The No List Method. Here Cheney asserts that it is possible to promote affiliate products and monetize them even for people who do not have a mailing list. He also teaches students how to generate traffic by joining Facebook groups and posting your affiliate links there.

How Much Does Commission Machine Cost and What is Included?

You'll need to invest $47 to access the training program which contains 7 videos. This is a one-time fee, but that doesn't mean that everything from hereon is for free.

The $47 fee is something that you pay just to get your foot in the door, and it doesn't give you automatic access to the course content itself (yet).

Once you've entered the system, be prepared to meet the Commission Machine "upsells." These upsells will give you access to additional content that promises to increase your potential earnings once you purchase them.

But they're really designed to milk additional cash out of you. You have the option to purchase them, or ignore them and proceed to the Core Training materials.

The first Commission Machine upsell is the Golden Ticket, an upsell which costs $27 per month (you can also get lifetime access to the webinars by paying a one-time fee of $197). People who pay for the Golden Ticket can access Michael Cheney's exclusive monthly affiliate campaign webinars.

Every month, he will personally create a profitable Commission Machine and teach you how he makes money off of it. All you have to do, he claims, is copy what he writes, paste it in your autoresponder (or social media pages), and rake in profits as soon as possible.

If you don't want the Golden Ticket, don't worry because you can still access Michael Cheney's webinars. So, is he giving them away for free? Of course not. You'll need to cough up $17 per month for a downgraded Golden Ticket ($124 lifetime access). This "downsell" only gives you access to recorded webinars only.

Cheny's second one-time-offer is Commissionology, an upsell which costs $27. This service email templates and other "bonuses." Just copy the email templates, change the affiliate link, and personalize it by replacing them with yours. Send them to your subscribers and profit.

Then there's another, more expensive upsell. The Done-for-You Service costs $97, a one-time-offer which allows you to copy and paste email templates that will increase your earnings. It also includes special bonuses and exclusive discounts.

What I Like About Commission Machine

To make it clear, I don't recommend Commission Machine but here's what I like about this training course.

* Easy to understand and well-organized 7-module video training course

The training course is divided into 7 parts, and the shortest video only lasts more than 3 minutes. Most videos last more than 20 minutes so you can view them during your lunch break or while you're on the train on your way to work. The longest video, on the other hand, lasts up to 46 minutes. When you add them all up, you'll only spend less than three hours studying Commission Machine.

Cheney has divided and organized all the information pretty well, making them easier to digest. He has been working in the industry for a long time, so you can be sure that he knows what he's saying.

He's pretty good at explaining the concepts clearly so they are easy to understand even for beginners. He doesn't just tell you how to create emails, he'll show you how to do it yourself.

* If you're not satisfied with the training course, you can get your money back

The good news is, unlike other internet marketing courses, Commission Machine offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. According to the Commission Machine website, customers will not be badgered with questions or downsells when they decide to ask for a full refund.

What I Don't Like About Commission Machine

Michael Cheney is an experienced internet marketer who has been in this business for many years now, but that doesn't mean his product is flawless. Let's take a look at the cons of signing up with Commission Machine.

* Unrealistic and overhyped marketing strategy

In the Commission Machine website, you'll read Michael Cheney's glowing narration of how he discovered the secret method to earning thousands of dollars in a short span of time.

He also promises that Commission Machine is so easy even newbies who are short on cash and internet marketing experience can also replicate his success. All they have to do is replicate his method and wait for the money to come in.

The site also has screenshots of testimonials from purportedly satisfied internet marketers to lure potential customers. The information about Commission Machine method on the website is flimsy and without substance, and the space is largely taken up by hyped-up testimonials.

This is unrealistic. There's no way you'll earn that much money in a short span of time and only by watching less than three hours of video tutorials or using prepared email templates.

The truth is, good money is the product of hard work or a one-in-a-million innovation, and there's no shortcut around it. Your earnings will probably only be modest at best even after you've spent so much time studying Commission Machine and religiously following Cheney's advice.

* Too many upsells

Apart from the $47 enrollment fee, you'll need to pay another $27 for the Golden Ticket or the Commissionology service.

Plus, other essential tools (such as a third-party email autoresponder and a landing page creator) are not included in the startup cost.

You'll have to cough up additional money for these essential tools.

* Missing essential information

Michael Cheney promises that all you have to do is to replicate what he does and success is guaranteed.

But the training course does not include essential email marketing information, such as how to build a website which your subscribers can visit or how to build and increase your subscriber list.

Is Commission Machine a Scam?

Commission Machine is not a scam. Michael Cheney really spent a lot of time and effort putting together an easy-to-understand video training module. There are many parts which actually made sense, and some email marketing methods are really effective.

Maybe these methods really worked for him and he really is raking in thousands of dollars every day. We only have screenshots of his earnings and testimonials of satisfied customers as proof, but we have no way of knowing if they're really true.

Commission Machine is also hard to recommend to people looking to make money online because the course only scratches the surface and lacks a lot of information on the many aspects effective email marketing.

You also need to purchase upsells to access other information and funnels that you can use for effective emails marketing.

Additionally, the statement that you don't need money to launch a successful email marketing campaign is misleading.

First, you'll need almost $50 to access the course, and you'll need to have another $27 or more to access the Golden Ticket or the Commissionology.

Plus, you'll also need to spend money for other essential investments (such as email marketing software and landing page).

Here's a Better Way to Make Money

Hopefully by now I've talked you out of signing up with Commission Machine. You're going to be bombarded with upsells even before you take the training course, and it's too hyped up that you'll eventually realize that it's too good to be true.
