Do I recommend? No but it's better than most MLM's
Summary: Emris International is the latest MLM to enter the CBD market and this company is similar to many already out there.
There's a lot of reasons I don't recommend this company for you to join and the main reason is the odds for success are very low. Most people who join Emris will end up losing money and not making any.

What Is Emris?
1) What is Emris? Emris is a MLM company that revolves around CBD products. This company is new and launched in 2019.
2) Who runs Emris? This company was founded by three different individuals - Aspen Emry, Ilean Harris and Matthew Harris. All three of these people are experienced in online sales and network marketing.
3) How do you make money with Emris? Like I mentioned before, Emris is a MLM and this means Multi-Level Marketing. Essentially this means you can sign up for Emris and can sell their products independently. Also, you get rewarded for recruiting people into your downline. This may sound good on paper but it's an extremely flawed system.
4) Where is this company located? On the company website they have three addresses listed - Florida, Ireland and South Africa.
5) Are there any similar companies? There's plenty of competition in the CBD MLM world and similar companies include: Prime My Body, hempSMART, Zilis, Kannaway, CTFO
Is Emris A Pyramid Scheme?
Pyramid schemes are illegal in basically all countries around the world and Emris doesn't fit the definition of an illegal pyramid scheme.
However, there's definitely elements of a pyramid scheme here.
To understand what I mean, look at the picture below:
This is what part of the commission structure looks like at Emris and it's the part that rewards recruitment.
When a system relies heavily on recruitment you'll always see only a handful of people make money while the rest lose money. That's just the nature of incentivized recruitment.
How early you get in on the scheme really dictates how much you make, not how hard or how many hours worked.
The reason Emris isn't an illegal pyramid scheme is because there's a real product involved and you can make money through retail sales (without recruitment).
Success Is Rare With MLM's
MLM's are universally hated and there's a reason for this - they're just horrible business opportunities.
Do some people make money with MLM's? Yes. Do some make a lot of money? Yes.
But the overwhelming amount of people lose money. Many studies put the percentage of people losing money between 73% to 99%.

As you can see you'll want to avoid not only this MLM but all MLM's.

Emris Compensation Plan
MLM compensation plans are always very difficult to understand and they're filled with jargon and other hard to decipher language.

I don't think it's too important to know everything about the compensation plan and instead I'm going to summarize the most important parts:
Affiliate Ranks
At Emris there's 8 different affiliate ranks you can reach and you get to one rank from another by hitting certain goals (you get bonuses for hitting each rank).
The first rank you achieve by just purchasing the $49 business kit when you sign up. To reach the 8th and last rank you would have to personally enroll 4 affiliates that get to the second rank, have 2 level rank 6 affiliates in your downline, have 160 PCV over 5 weeks, have 12000 CV in lesser volume leg in 1 week and have 12000 ETCV, max 50% per leg.
Confused? It really doesn't matter because most people never get past the first rank.
Retail Sales:
I like how the retail sales section is set up and it's better than most MLM's. When you join a MLM you want one that rewards retail and Emris seems to do that.
There's two ways to sell Emris products and the first is to just buy the products at a 20% discount and sell them physically.
The second way (and better in my opinion) is to sell them online. You get a replicated website that links up to Emris and you can make 20% commissions through sales on your site.
This allows you to make money without recruiting and you can run it more like an E-commerce site.
Residual Income
Residual income is the part of the compensation plan the rewards building a downline and recruitment.
The commission structure here is binary and looks like the following:
How much you make depends on your rank and how much volume your team generates.
Other Bonuses
There's many smaller bonuses as well including Vice President Bonus Pool, Director Bonus Pool, Fast start bonus and more.
Once you start actually making money you can look more into these bonuses.
Emris Products
Emris offers 3 different products and their most popular is their CBD oil product.
Here's the three products and some information about them:
Synergy
Synergy is the most popular product at Emris and is the CBD product. CBD is an isolate from cannabis/hemp (Synergy comes from hemp) and is legal because it doesn't contain any THC.
CBD is growing in popularity and with that comes a lot fo hype. I've taken CBD oil before and didn't really get any benefits but I'm sure there's some mild effects.
It is very pricey too and Synergy costs between $79 to $99.
Vitality Plus
This product is a herbal blend and has ingredients suchs as ashwagandha root, turmeric root, cinnamon bark powder and more.
This product supposedly helps with immune system, stress, digestions and more.
Vida
Vida is a product that contains a combination of fruits and vegetables.

What I Like About Emris
While I don't recommend you join Emris there's still a few things I like about this company:
- Good focus on retail: A MLM that focuses on retail sales is better than most. If you sign up with this company you can make money without trying to sell to friends or family. The fact you get a replicated website means you can run this opportunity like any other E-commerce one.
- Good leadership: The three co-founders have a pretty good record and they seem like professionals that can run a business competently.
What I Don't Like About Emris
At the end of the day there's more I don't like here than do like and the main things I dislike are:
- Crowded market: CBD companies are EVERYWHERE. They advertise on every podcast I listen to and there's a million different CBD companies and CBD MLM's out there. Emris is expensive too and people can find cheaper alternatives with the same quality.
- Low success rate: MLM's just don't produce a lot of winners. Most people will end up losing money here and those that make money tend to make just a few bucks a day.
- Complicated compensation plan: Yikes. I review a lot of MLM's and this compensation plan is extra confusing. At some points it feels like you're reading an entirely new language.
Is Emris A Scam?
Definitely not.
Chances are you'll lose money if you join this company but I actually like this MLM more than most.
The main reason is you can avoid recruiting all together if you want and just focus on online sales with your replicated website.
If this is your plan take a course on paid advertising on Google and Facebook and there's a chance you make some money.
Since you don't have to pay for stock you can put your money towards advertising.
Here's A Better Opportunity
While Emris isn't terrible I don't think you should join it.
However, there's still plenty of ways to make money from home and online.
