What is Goodlife USA?

Goodlife USA is an exclusive travel club that offers access to its own booking search engine. Once members have paid the membership fee, they can access the booking search engine and peruse the best prices and various deals on resorts, hotels, dining, cruises, getaways, and more.

Goodlife USA also provides deals and discounts on sports events, shopping, entertainment, dining, rental cars, and flights.

But Goodlife USA is not your ordinary travel and lifestyle club thanks to its MLM business model. Members can also become Goodlife USA's independent business owners or IBOs. IBOs can earn various commissions and bonuses by recruiting other members, as well as other IBOs.

Once you become an IBO, you'll need to buy the Goodlife USA VIP Club Cards (kind of like gift cards) that are already preloaded with a $200. You can give the cards away to friends, family or clients so they can use the preloaded amount to book deals with affiliated hotels, resorts, car rentals, and more. You'll earn $100 for every $200 used by your friends on hotel, resort, and car rental bookings. Check out the video below for additional information.

The company is based in Boca Raton, Florida, but the opportunities it offers are open to all US and Canadian residents. It was established back in 2015.

Goodlife USA is the brainchild of its CEO, the entrepreneur Mark Seyforth. Seyforth has a long history with multi-level marketing as evidenced by the bio in his own website. According to his website, he created the MLM commission plan typically used by many network marketing companies. He was one of the driving forces behind companies such as Slendernow, Herbalife, One24 Inc., and of course, Goodlife USA.

Goodlife USA's president is Matthew Landau, while Joey Seyforth serves as its chief operating officer. Javier Mancera serves as the company's chief technical officer."

Is Goodlife USA a Pyramid Scheme?

There's a high chance that Goodlife USA is a pyramid scheme.

First, Goodlife USA only offers travel and lifestyle club membership in exchange for access to exclusive deals and discounts at hotels, restaurants, cruises, and more. You can look for deals and discounts with the help of the company's "own" booking engine.

But there's no point in buying an "exclusive" membership offered by businesses such as Goodlife USA when you can easily access Skyscanner, Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, and other such websites for free. Goodlife USA's low-quality or even non-existent product is a red flag in itself.

Another issue with Goodlife USA is its MLM business model. When utilized in the right way, multi-level marketing offers a lot of benefits and opportunities.

But the fact that you'll need to pay the company's high monthly membership fee and invest in its setup in exchange for a "product" that is of little value definitely smells fishy. Moreover, you'll need to recruit other affiliates to climb the ranks and earn commissions.

All of these are hallmarks of pyramid schemes, so it's best to stay away from Goodlife USA.

Success is Rare at Goodlife USA

If you're looking for a chance to save on travel expenses and make money at the same time, then I'm sorry because Goodlife USA is not the answer to your prayers.

Success is rare at Goodlife USA for people like you and me. The persons who are most likely to earn much in this company are its leaders who prey on and enrich themselves at the expense of unsuspecting individuals who just want to enjoy life a little.

Take a look at Goodlife USA's commission structure.

Imagine that you're one of the newly minted individuals at the bottom of this pyramid. Let's say you paid $39.95 for a Gold membership, plus a setup fee of $119.

The majority of the money you pay will go to the company's business expenses and pocketed by its management. A small percentage of the money will be used as "incentives" to the affiliates at the top of the pyramid.

And what about you? Well, you're going to have to recruit others, and the money the people on your downline pays the company will also be your "incentive." But your success as an affiliate will largely depend on how convincing you are and whether the product you're selling is profitable or not. Plus, your friends and family members probably already know MLM's bad reputation, so it's likely that you won't be able to recruit many people to join Goodlife USA.

How Much to Join Goodlife USA?

The monthly membership fee depends on the type of plan you want. Monthly fees for Silver members cost $11.95, while Gold members need to pay $39.95 each month. Platinum members are required to pay $59.95 every month. Setup fees are not yet included.

What is Goodlife USA's Compensation Plan?

Goodlife USA has one of the most longest compensation plans we've ever read. We will not be able to cover all of them here, so let's check out some of the few ways Goodlife USA's affiliates can earn commissions and other incentives with this company.

Incentives for Achieved Ranks

Garnet

Members who reach Garnet rank will receive a certificate of accomplishment and a recognition pin. To reach Garnet rank, independent business owners (IBOs) should have a minimum personal commission (PCV) of 50 for each calendar month, and enroll two new independent business owners. The IBOs should have minimum earnings of $5,000.

Tiger Eye, Opal, and Sapphire

Members who reach these ranks will also receive a certificate of accomplishment, plus a recognition pin.

The qualifications are almost the same except for the minimum cumulative earnings. To reach Tiger Eye, members' minimum cumulative earnings should reach $10,000. The minimum cumulative earnings for prospective Opal members need to reach $20,000, while prospective Sapphire members need minimum cumulative earnings of $40,000.

Ruby

Members who reach Ruby will receive the usual certificate of accomplishment and recognition pin. They will also be eligible to be certified as Goodlife USA's corporate trainer. Members will have VIP seating at the company's annual international conference.

Before they achieve the rank of Ruby, they'll need to enroll three IBOs, have minimum cumulative earnings of $80,000, and more.

Diamond

Members must have minimum cumulative earnings of $250,000 and enroll at least 3 IBOs to qualify for the diamond rank. They'll get the usual recognition pin and certificate of accomplishment. They will also receive a special award, an invitation to the company-sponsored annual Diamond trip, and other benefits.

Double Diamond, Black Double Diamond, and Crown Black Diamond

Minimum cumulative earnings for members who aspire to reach the Double Diamond rank is set at $500,000. Those who have reached $1,000,000 in earnings and those who have reached $1,500,000 in earnings will become Black Double Diamond and Crown Black Diamond members respectively.

Some of the benefits include a percentage of the infinity bonuses, a percentage in the 1% Diamond pool, an invitation to Diamond-exclusive company-sponsored trip, and more.

Presidential Black Diamond

The highest rank within the Goodlife USA hierarchy is the Presidential Black Diamond. Members who have enrolled five IBOs and have accumulated total earnings of $2,000,000 become Presidential Black Diamond members.

Presidential Black Diamond members enjoy a lot of incentives, including infinity bonuses, a percentage in different company-wide GCV pools, VIP seat at the yearly Goodlife USA international conference, and more.

What Products Does Goodlife USA Offer?

These are Goodlife USA's products/membership plans:

* Silver plan

If you want to become a Silver member, you'll need to pay a monthly fee of $11.95. The setup fee is free, and it includes access to thousands of hotels, rental cars, flights, and dining options. The Silver plan also offers access to entertainment and retail options, as well as access to Goodlife USA's exclusive booking engine.

* Gold plan

This subscription plan costs $39.95 every month, but you'll need to pay an additional one-time setup fee of $119.

The Gold plan offers access to hotels, rental cars, flights, and other benefits provided to Silver plan subscribers. But apart from the regular benefits, Gold plan members also have access to Goodlife USA's staycation getaways, cruise booking engine, cruise getaways, and value condo escape.

* Platinum plan

Gain access to thousands of hotels, rental cars, flights, and dining options with the Platinum plan. It also includes staycation getaways, cruise getaways, premier condo escapes, and personal concierge service. Other benefits include condo booking engine and fantasy getaways.

The Platinum plan costs $59.95 every month, plus a setup fee of $269.

What I Like About Goodlife USA

Here are some of the positive things about Goodlife USA.

* Ideal if you're a frequent traveler

If you're a frequent traveler (whether for business or leisure) and you want to find deals in the areas you frequently travel to, then maybe the Goodlife USA has the perfect hotel or resort deal for you.

But if you only travel once or twice a year, there's no sense in paying several dollars in membership fees. It's better to save your money and book that hotel room with the money you have saved when the time comes.

* Different membership plans

One of the (few) good things about this company is that it actually has three different products or membership plans. If you really want to try it out, you can dip your toes by trying the Silver membership first and see if you can get deals and discounts via the Goodlife USA booking engine. You're free to upgrade to Gold and Platinum memberships if you think Goodlife USA really delivers.

What I Don't Like About Goodlife USA

* Complicated compensation plan

There are a lot of ways you can earn commissions with Goodlife USA ⁠— that is if you can get through all that MLM jargons and the confusing way the compensation plan is presented. If you haven't encountered network marketing before, and you've never heard of the terms downline, unilevel, and other such terms before, then this "business" is not for you.

Another issue with the Goodlife USA's compensation plan is how hard it is to climb the ranks. Take a look at its lowest tier, Garnet. In order to reach the Garnet rank, you'll need to have minimum total earnings of $5,000, enroll two new IBOs, and maintain at least 50 personal commission volume within a given month.

The problem is that earning that much is difficult to accomplish because you only get $100 for every time the recipient of the VIP Club Card uses it to book a hotel room via Goodlife USA's booking engine. Plus, you'll only get a pin and a certificate for your "accomplishment." In my opinion, it's not worth it.

* Too many customer complaints are a red flag

Goodlife USA has a Better Business Bureau rating of F. As you probably know, this is the lowest possible rating customers can give businesses. The company's page is literally littered with complaints, from awful customer service, to charging customers' credit cards without them knowing, and refusal to refund customers when justified.

Some customers have complained that the cards were not as useful as they thought they were, and they did not get discounts or were shortchanged when they used the VIP Club Cards. Other IBOs have also complained that the company refused to hand over their commissions. Check out a couple of customer rants below.

Since then, Goodlife USA has not been active on social media. It has been more than a year since their Facebook and Youtube pages have been updated. Save yourself the hassle and look for other ways to make money.

* You'll find better deals on Expedia, Skyscanner, and other similar sites

There's really no point in creating this mish-mash of MLM and travel club in the age of Expedia, Skyscanner, Trivago, and other similar websites which also offer deals on hotels and other tourist establishments. While it's true that you're being charged for every booking you make on these websites (other aggregator websites are free to use), at least they are honest about the one-off fees they are charging and you're not paying a monthly membership fee for a service you don't use frequently.

Is Goodlife USA a Scam?

The chances that Goodlife USA is a scam is very high, so it's best to stay away from it.

While it has a very good website and there are many ways you can earn money when you join the company, the red flags outweigh the benefits. The company has received a lot of complaints online, and it's been more than a year since its social media pages had been updated.

I could not find an income disclosure statement online, so there's no way of knowing if the multi-level marketing strategy is profitable or not. Plus, there are already websites that offer this service for free or are at least honest about the one-time upfront fees when you book with them. There's no sense wasting your money on monthly membership fees required by Goodlife USA.

So is it worth your time? No.
