Summary: iGalen is another company that offers nutritional supplements using an MLM business model. It has offices in the US, Malaysia, and the Philippines, but it has a presence in countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, and more.

It only has two products for now, so the lack of product diversity might be a roadblock in successfully selling them. It is not a pyramid scheme, but it can be hard to earn a lot of money with this company.

What is iGalen?

Coming up with company names can be tricky. A good rule of thumb is to make it original, memorable, and user-friendly. Some companies come up with their own, while others use a foreign word loaded with meaning. Others take inspiration from animals and mythical creatures, while others take inspiration from historical personalities. And one of those companies is iGalen.

Let's jog our memories a bit so we can understand what this company is about. If you remember those history lessons about the Roman Empire in high school or you're a history buff, then perhaps the name "Galen" rings a bell.

Galen (or Galen of Pergamon) was one of the best-known physicians and philosophers of the Roman Empire. This Greek physician served the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius and many other prominent Roman personalities at that time. His contribution to Greco-Roman medicine rival that of Hippocrates of Kos.

The company iGalen takes inspiration from this particular physician. Today's iGalen offers a couple of nutritional supplements. But the nutritional supplements are a bit more unique than the ones you can find on drugstore shelves today.

Singaporean businessman Chan Heng Fai is iGalen's chairman and one of the company's co-founders. Another co-founder is CEO Rajen Manicka. Kosta Gara is iGalen's chief corporate advisor. Let's explore each leader's background to learn more about them.

According to his bio, Chan Heng Fai is a Singaporean businessman whose expertise is financial restructuring and corporate transformation. He is credited with transforming and restructuring over 35 corporations worldwide including American Pacific Bank, Global Med Technologies, Inc., and Singhaiyi Group Ltd to name a few.

Currently, he leads companies including Hengfai International, BMI Securities Limited, Holista Colltech Limited, Global Biolife Inc., and of course, iGalen.

CEO Rajen Manicka is also the executive chairman and CEO of Holista Colltech. According to his bio, he is a "pharmacist with a Doctorate in Holistic Medicine with specialization in the effects of carbohydrates on metabolism." He is also an author and a former health columnist for Malaysian newspapers such as the New Straits Times and The Star.

Last but not least is Kosta Gara, iGalen's Chief Corporate Advisor. According to his bio, Mr. Gara is a best-selling author, as well as a prolific leader in the direct sales industry.

iGalen has offices in Sunrise, Florida; Quezon City, Philippines; and Selangor, Malaysia. The company has also branched out in Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Is iGalen A Pyramid Scheme?

No, iGalen is not a pyramid scheme. In fact, in its Policy and Procedure document, it explicitly states that "all Distributors are strictly prohibited from misrepresting [sic] the opportunity plan as a "get-rich-quick” opportunity, and should not use fraud, coercion, harassment, or other means to force people to join as Distributors. Instead, they should focus their efforts on promoting [sic] the quality and features of the products."

iGalen's commission structure, however, looks like this.

iGalen has an MLM strategy, so apart from selling the products, you'll also need to recruit and sponsor other people to become distributors. You can earn a percentage off of every sale they make, or get a leadership bonus.

Although it is legit MLM and not a pyramid scheme, it can be hard to earn money from this type of business. Your earnings will not only depend on how many iGalen products you sell, but also the performance of the people in your downline.

iGalen only has two products and they can be hard to sell if you're not well-versed in biochemistry and nutrition terms. As a distributor, you'll have to work extra hard to make a good first impression and make your product stand out.

Success Is Rare At iGalen

iGalen is still a newbie in the nutritional supplement field and it has literally hundreds — if not thousands — of rival companies out there. So if you're thinking that you'll earn so much money working for the company as a distributor in a span of weeks or months, then that's wishful thinking.

iGalen itself issued a disclaimer that it is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Plus, it does not have an income disclosure published online so the company may still be struggling to make a name in an already crowded nutritional supplement arena.

How Much To Join iGalen?

You'll have to pay $29.95 to become an iGalen distributor. This membership fee is to be paid annually.

Any iGalen products are not included in this fee, so you or your prospective customers will not be able to sample products for free.

What iGalen wants you to do is to purchase at least one distributor package that costs $79.95. The Bronze pack is ideal for new distributors, while the Silver and Gold packs are ideal for those who are already established in the business. The silver pack contains 6 iGalen products that your customers can sample, while Gold packs contain 10 products.

The Platinum pack includes 20 iGalen products that you and your customer can sample. According to iGalen, this will give you the biggest earning potential.

What Is iGalen's Compensation Plan?

There are six ways you can get paid when you join iGalen. iGalen's compensation plan includes:

* Retail Profit

Retail Profit is the simplest of iGalen's compensation plan. Affiliates can purchase iGalen products at wholesale price then sell them at retail price. They can earn as much as 35% in profits.

Platinum members can earn as much as 35% when they purchase 20 bottles/boxes of iGalen products.

Gold members who purchase 10 bottles/boxes can get a 30% discount, while silver members who purchase 6 bottles/boxes can earn as much as 20%.

Bronze members, on the other hand, need to purchase 3 bottles/boxes to earn as much as 10%.

* Fast Start Bonus

Let's say you successfully sponsored a new iGalen distributor, and this team member ordered a product immediately. The sponsor (you) will receive a Fast Start Bonus thanks to this purchase. This bonus, however, depends on your rank.

* Team Commission Bonus

Build two teams of your own to earn the this commission. But having a left and right team automatically qualifies you for this compensation. One of your teams needs to accumulate 500 BV, while the other team needs to accumulate 1000 BV. Plus, you'll need to be active as an iGalen affiliate and should be at Bronze rank to qualify.

* Leadership Matching Bonus

After personally enrolling a lot of iGalen affiliates and building a solid downline, you can now earn the Leadership Matching bonus. In this plan, you can earn a 5% on commissions earned by the team members on the first level of your downline.

You'll then earn a 4% bonus on commissions earned by the affiliates on your second level. This bonus drops to 3% on the third level and so on.

* Leadership Bonus Pool

iGalen affiliates who have ascended to the higher ranks will receive 3% leadership bonus pool. People who are qualified to receive this bonus should have reached the following ranks:

Ruby
Emerald
Diamond
Double Diamond
Triple Diamond
Crown
Double Crown
Royale Crown

* Lifestyle Bonus

Affiliates who have reached the ranks of Ruby, Emerald, Diamond, and beyond are qualified to receive a monthly Lifestyle Bonus when they reach a new rank every four-week cycle.

What Products Does iGalen Offer?

iGalen is a relatively young company, and it currently has two products on the market. Check out these products below.

Emulin Plus E

The first iGalen product we're going to discuss is Emulin Plus E. This is a dietary supplement formulated as a "carbohydrate optimizer." According to iGalen, it is the first of its kind. Further, this product is all-natural and contains only four ingredients that work to lessen the effects of eating excessive carbs.

Carbohydrates are essential for the body to work properly. Bread, rice, and other carbohydrate-rich foods provide our bodies energy.

But what happens when we eat a lot of carbohydrates and we don't engage in physical activities. Then the result is weight gain, Type 2 diabetes, vascular diseases, and more.

Carbs, however, are some of the foods that make life worth living that's why it can be very hard to stay away from them.

So what is inside Emulin Plus E and how does it work to keep your body healthy?

Emulin Plus E contains four all-natural ingredients, and these are cinnamon bark extract, fenugreek seed extract, onion peel extract, and turmeric root extract.

Cinnamon and fenugreek seeds keep blood sugar healthy by facilitating carbohydrate metabolism.

Onion extract is great for the heart and contains anti-oxidants. Lastly, turmeric supports cardiovascular function and improves heart health. It also boosts the immune system and liver function.

Klamax

Another iGalen product is Klamax. This product is derived from a type of algae called Aphanizomenon flos-aquae. Scientists believe this is one of the first lifeforms on the planet and one of the best photosynthesizers.

This type of algae doesn't just grow anywhere, and it can only be found in the wild. It contains more than 60 vitamins and minerals, essential fatty acids, and amino acids. Apart from vitamins and minerals, it contains phycocyanin and phenylethylamine.

This alga is grown and harvested in Upper Klamath Lake in Oregon. It is then extracted, purified, and processed to become Klamax.

It contains Phenylethylamine, AFA-phycocyanins, and Mycosporine-like amino acids. The combination of these molecules helps improve the immune and nervous systems, plus protects the body from oxidative stress and inflammation. According to iGalen, it can also improve the hair and skin, as well as repair lesions of tissues.

What I Like About iGalen

Here are some of the things I like about iGalen.

* Great website loaded with lots of information

You know that the people behind iGalen really did their homework. The company only offers two products as of the moment, but you'll be amazed at the amount of health and nutritional information you'll find at the iGalen website.

Each product page is packed with information about what the product contains, as well as an exhaustive FAQ section at the bottom of the page. It appears that the company made up for information what it lacked in product diversity.

* Solid team leaders with a good reputation

iGalen is backed by prominent Singaporean businessman Chan Heng Fai. A financial and business wiz, Chan's reputation in the business world is solid and untarnished.

CEO Dr. Rajen Manicka and Chief Corporate Advisor Kosta Gara are also leaders in their own fields.

These are not your garden-variety shady techbros whose businesses only have a PO box and not actual addresses.

* The company's still young so there's a chance for affiliates to climb the ranks

iGalen was founded only in 2017, so ambitious affiliates can easily climb the ranks if they choose.

What I Don't Like About iGalen

Here are some things I don't like about iGalen.

* Offers only two products, and they are expensive

iGalen only has two products as of the moment: Emulin Plus E and Klamax. One bottle of Emulin Plus E contains 80 capsules, and each bottle costs a whopping $79.95. Klamax costs $79.95 per 20-capsule bottle.

Yes, customers can understand that Klamax's main ingredient is out-of-the-ordinary, but it is still very pricey and they might not be willing to spend that much for some dietary supplements.

Emulin Plus E, on the other hand, strikes the perfect balance between price and quantity since each bottle contains 80 capsules.

If you really want to make it big as an affiliate, you better brush up on the products' complicated ingredients because you'll need them every time you make a sales pitch.

* No income disclosure statement yet

Maybe it's because iGalen is still a relatively young company that's why it has not published an income disclosure yet. If you're looking to make money with an established company, this is not it.

Is iGalen A Scam?

No, iGalen is not a scam. It is a legitimate company that sells a couple of dietary supplements and has an MLM business model. Affiliates or distributors can focus on selling their products, or they can also choose to build their downline and earn a percentage of the profits of their team.

This company is the brainchild of prominent Asian businessmen Chan Heng Fai and Dr. Rajen Manicka. It has offices in countries such as Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, and the United States.

iGalen's untarnished reputation, however, is not a guarantee that you will earn money immediately. As mentioned, it is still a new company and the products that it offers are pretty limited (there are only two). Plus, how many similar products are there in the market right now? You'll need to study the products properly so you can make an impression on prospective customers.
