That's what this review will answer..

By the time you're done reading you'll know if this company is right for you.

Let's get started!

Navan Global Summary

Company: Navan Global

Price to join: $299.95 to $999.95

Business model: Multi-Level Marketing

Do I recommend? No!

Overall rating :  5/10

Navan Global is a multi-level marketing company (MLM) that's in the CBD market. There's some positives to this company when compared to other MLM's but it's still not worth joining.

The cost to join is high and there's issues in the compensation plan that will make earning money difficult.

At the end of the day this is a typical MLM which more people will lose money than make money.

I'd steer clear.

Navan Global FAQ'S

1) What is Navan Global? Navan Global is a new MLM that focuses on CBD products. The "about us" page doesn't mention who the CEO/founder is but it would seem Trey Knight is.

2) How do you make money here? Since this is a MLM there's two ways to make money. The first way to make money is to sell Navan Global's products directly to customers - you earn a commission on every sale you make.

The second way to make money is to recruit people into your downline. Once in your downline you earn commissions on the sales they make.

3) Are there any red flags? To me there's two main red flags.

The first red flag is the CEO, Trey Knight, has been involved in legitimate pyramid schemes in the past - Fortune Hi-Tech. This company was shut down by the FTC in 2013.

The second red flag is the price of the CBD. The CBD here is generic yet costs up to 30% more than competitors. This is going to make retail sales difficult.

4) Are there any similar CBD MLM's? A lot of CBD MLM's have come on the scene in the last few years and some include Touchstone Essentials, Green Compass, HealX, Emris International, and more.

Is Navan Global A Pyramid Scheme?

Not all MLM's are pyramid schemes (pyramid schemes are basically illegal in every country in the world).

I personally don't think Navan Global is a pyramid scheme.

To understand what I mean, look at the picture below:

An illegal pyramid scheme forms in two different ways:

  1. There's no products to sell and recruiting is the only way to make money
  2. There are products but most sales are coming from distributors and not from retail customers.

There's products here so it doesn't fall into the first category.

Many MLM's will force distributors to buy products every month but Navan Global doesn't do that either so it most likely doesn't fall into the second category either.

Some distributors will still buy products so they can rank up. Just ask the person recruiting you how much of their sales are from retail sales and how many are from them buying products.

If retail sales aren't more than 50% than it may be a pyramid scheme.

Success Will Be Rare Here

There's one thing the person trying to recruit you into their downline will never tell you..

99% of people that join a MLM end up losing money instead of making money (many studies prove this).

There's a lot of reasons for this and the main two are the products MLM's offer are usually way too overpriced and recruiting is very difficult.

The first problem is definitely going to be an issue here. They're selling CBD oils that cost $60 in other places at $99.

There's so many CBD's out there and you're not going to have much luck selling one that's 30% more expensive than everyone else.

Recruiting isn't going to be easier.

In order to succeed with a MLM you'll need to have hundreds of people in your downline.

How many people can you realistically recruit? 5? 10? Can you even get that many?

Here's some other eye opening stats about MLM's:

As you can see MLM's are a horrible way to make money. That's why I do affiliate marketing. There's no recruiting or anything like that with affiliate marketing

How Much To Join?

Navan Global has a few different packages you can choose from when signing up.

The packages are:

  • Starter Packs ($299.95)
  • Business Builder Pack ($499.95)
  • Ultimate Builder ($999.95)

When you pay more you get more products.

There's other costs involved with running a MLM business as well. You should honestly have a few thousand to spend if you plan on joining Navan Global.

Navan Global Compensation Plan

Navan Global's compensation plan is pretty standard and will be hard to understand for most people who are unfamiliar with MLM lingo.

I'll summarize the main parts of the plan so you can understand it better.

Affiliate Ranks

There's 14 different ranks here and you go up from one rank to another by hitting certain goals.

You earn more as you go up in rank as well.

Here's the ranks you can achieve:

  • Manager
  • Director
  • Executive
  • Sapphire
  • Ruby
  • Emerald
  • Diamond
  • Double Diamond
  • Black Diamond
  • Royal Black Diamond
  • Crown Blue Diamond
  • Double Crown Blue Diamond
  • Triple Crown Blue Diamond
  • Presidential Diamond

The affiliate ranks system is summarized in the picture below:

The main thing needed to rank up is OV which stands for Orinizational Volume - this is just the amount of sales your downline makes.

So if your team sells 100,000 OV you'll reach the Diamond rank and make $15,000 per month.

Keep in mind, though, most people will not make it past the first rank or two.

Residual Commissions

What you can make at each affiliate rank is set and capped.

This means every person at a certain rank makes the same per month.

You can refer to the chart above to see how much you would make per month based on your rank.

Rank Achievement Bonus

You also get a bonus when you rank up.

Here's the bonuses you get based on your rank:

  • Manager - $100 bonus (have to reach this rank in 30 days)
  • Director - $300 bonus (have to reach this rank in 60 days)
  • Executive - $1000 bonus
  • Sapphire - $2000 bonus
  • Ruby - $4000 bonus
  • Emerald - $8000 bonus
  • Diamond - $15,000 bonus
  • Double Diamond - $25,000 bonus
  • Black Diamond - $45,000 bonus
  • Royal Black Diamond - $65,000 bonus
  • Crown Blue Diamond - $80,000 bonus
  • Double Crown Blue Diamond - $100,000 bonus
  • Triple Crown Blue diamond - $130,000 bonus
  • Presidential Diamond - $200,000 bonus

Navan Global Products

The products at Navan all revolve around CBD.

They have various CBD products including:

  • Tinctures
  • Lotions
  • Creams
  • Bath bombs
  • Gummies

And they have different CBd combos for different problems (anti-aging, sleeping, energy, etc.).

The problem here is the price of these products. CBD isn't a small market product - there's CBD everywhere you look!

You're not going to get away with selling CBD that's $25 extra.

So I personally think the retail opportunity is not going to be good.

Navan Global Pros And Cons

Here's what I like and don't like about Navan Global

Pros

  • New MLM: MLM's usually stay hot for a few years and then die off. Navan Global is new so it probably has a lot of potential
  • No autoshipment: Autoshipment is when a MLM requires distributors to buy products every month. That's not required here which is a good thing.

Cons

  • Products are too expensive: How many people do you know that are going to want to pay for expensive CBD oil? There's a lot of CBD options out there and people don't have to overpay.
  • Commissions are capped: How much you make depends on the rank you're at. If you sell $1 less than the higher rank you won't get paid extra. You'll still be capped at your rank.
  • Saturated market: CBD oil is everywhere. Almost every podcast is sponsored by CBD oil and there's thousands of CBD stores online - that's where most people are going to buy CBD.

Is Navan Global A Scam?

When you add up everything I don't think Navan Global is a scam. It's a legitimate business with real products.

The compensation plan is standard as well and there isn't any major red flags there.

The problem is it's going to be really hard to succeed here.

Expensive CBD oil is going to be a hard sell because there's so much competition.

And recruiting is going to be harder than making retail sales. Unless you already have a network marketing infrastructure in place chances are you're just going to lose money here.

Here's A Better Opportunity

Navan Global is going to be hard to make money with.

  • 2 things you are missing and need to include …(1) in order to get ANY residual commission when you obtain a rank you MUST be active which means you must buy a minimum of $100 in volume which equates to $140+ a month in purchase, tax and shipping. Plus you MUST have at least 2 active personal enrollees and reach a certain volume quota. (2) you spoke of residual income, well once you obtain a certain level you MUST maintain that level of volume every month after you reach that level in order to have a “residual income” at all. Every month starts over which means you or your downline must continue recruiting and buying…example is this month you reach executive and make $750 team commission. Next month you start as “member” and may very easily go back to $100 commission because your team had a down month. But in order to get the $100 your required to spend $140+ for products in order to get your $100 Volume to qualify for the commission. You’re correct 99% lose money if you don’t stay at it recruiting and buying…..js

  • I have to say that I know a lot of people who have made thousands in just a week or 2 with this business. The detox is something special and I cant wait to try it. MLM have different payout strategies. Navan has the most generous compensation plan ever. And it is a group effort. Not just the ppl “on top” will succeed. I feel like you are bashing a good company when you’ve only skimmed the surface and haven’t dived deeper into it. Integrity is always a huge part of any business. And sadly, FHTM wasn’t a scam. They sold products and services. Was sad what happened to them. Know your facts.

  • Navan gets their products from CBDmd. They are NOT geared towards product knowledge or even quality (I was using it and discovered they downgraded the product-but not the price). That lack of integrity forced me out. Trey talks a bit Christian talk but his practices don’t back his faith. For CBD users they are better off buying direct from CBDmd.
And for about wanting to get into the MLM business I’d say choose one who sources their own products and places value on education not just sales and recruitment
