If you have a full-time job but what you're earning is not enough or you're a college student who wants to earn some extra cash during your free time, then get-paid-to (GPT) websites are perfect for you.
You can answer a survey or watch a video while riding the train to work or school. If you're a stay-at-home mom, you can just whip our your phone while your baby naps or when you and your children are at the park.
Maybe you're already a member of GPT sites like Swagbucks or Survey Junkie, and you're looking for another way to earn additional money. Or maybe this is the first time you've heard of get-paid-to websites and you're interested in joining one.
One of the newest GPT websites out there is Survey Freedom. In a nutshell, Survey Freedom allows you to answer surveys, read emails, and watch movies on its platform. But let me be clear. Survey Freedom is not what it seems at all, and the information on its website makes it confusing and frustrating.
So, how does it work and how do you get started?
According to the Survey Freedom website, you can earn as much as $40 by completing one survey alone. The majority of brands that commission these surveys, however, pay anywhere between $5 and $15.
Survey Freedom is different from other GPT sites out there. With other paid survey websites, the registration process is pretty straightforward. You click or tap the 'Sign Up' or 'Register' page, give the website your details, and voila! You can start taking surveys and completing other tasks.
Survey Freedom is different. You must answer a few questions first so its system can match you with surveys that you will qualify for. The system will ask you about your gender, age, and how much money you want every month for answering surveys.
During the evaluation process, you'll be asked about the number of hours you can dedicate to the task, as well as when you can start. You will then be matched to thousands of surveys and several providers. This is the part where you have to give them your name, as well as your email address.
If you're already a member of several GPT websites, then you're going to be disappointed after the assessment. Instead of taking you to a members dashboard area, it will present you with the same survey providers are already familiar with. Other Things You Need To Know About Survey Freedom
Survey Freedom seems to be an affiliate of third-party websites
Despite its name, Survey Freedom is not a GPT site at all and seems to be an affiliate of Survey Junkie, Inbox Dollar, and i-Say only. But even its affiliation with these websites doesn't pass scrutiny because the moment you click on the 'Create Account' tab, you're automatically taken to other third-party websites.
To be honest, this is one of the most useless websites I've come across. Pretty to look at, but pointless too. No one -- except for the person who created it -- benefits from Survey Freedom.
The website was created only in mid-2018
That's right. Survey Freedom was created only on June 14, 2018, so it's a relatively new website and the design and feel of Survey Freedom reflect this. This is not your typical GPT website that looks cluttered, hard to navigate and looks like it has not been updated since 2010.
You won't find a lot of information about Survey Freedom on its website
Yes, the Survey Freedom website is impressive, but it's all style, no substance. It contains a bunch of pictures purchased from stock photo websites, some unverifiable testimonials, and an About page that doesn't help anyone at all.
It has a generic Privacy and TOS page, plus a contact page that seems to be working. It also has a bunch of articles about paid surveys that are optimized for search engines.

What I Like About Survey Freedom
The only thing that redeems Survey Freedom is its impressive website. It's neat and easy to navigate. The assessment deserves a mention, too.
What I Don't Like About Survey Freedom
It's not a GPT website
Survey Freedom is not a get-paid-to website. It's largely empty except for some articles about paid surveys that are optimized for search engines. There's the usual 'About' page, TOS, and rules on Privacy. The assessment page is good, too.
But apart from the usual, there's not a lot you can do here. It does not even have an FAQ page and an address page for its parent company, Envision Web, Inc. If you're the type of person who likes to read a rather limited number of articles about paid survey and GPT websites, then Survey Freedom will be your favorite website. Go ahead, knock yourself out.
Is Survey Freedom a Scam?
I don't think Survey Freedom is a scam per se. What annoys me is that it is not forthright about its affiliation with legit GPT sites. Plus, its content makes it look like it is a GPT site when in truth it is not.
Another thing that irks me is this elaborate assessment process that turns out to be a ruse. When you try to create an account, it just redirects you to some shady third-party website.
Survey Freedom is not a scam. It will simply waste your precious time. So, if you're looking to make some extra cash, just register directly with Inbox Dollars, Survey Junkie, and i-Say.
