What is ySense and How Does it Work?

Joining get-paid-to websites is probably one of the easiest ways to earn money online. You just answer surveys, sign up with a website, watch videos, or download apps and games to earn some extra cash.

It takes too long to accumulate points, and you will not be able to cash out your earnings whenever you want. But such tasks don't usually need high cognitive skills. You can answer the surveys while you're on the train, waiting in a hospital lobby, or while watching TV.

Maybe you're familiar with or is a member of websites such as Swagbucks or Inbox Dollars. But maybe ySense is not as familiar to you as the first two GPT sites I mentioned above that's why you're here.

Well, let me introduce to you ySense, and let's talk about whether this GPT site is a scam or not.

ySense is another get-paid-to website that pays users after they answer surveys, complete offers, and do other tasks. Let's break down all the ways you can earn money with ySense.

The first and most popular way to get paid with ySense is by taking surveys. These surveys are commissioned by consumer brands, advertisers, or market researchers. Some of the companies that offer surveys include Toluna Influencers, Samplicio.us, Opinion Network, and Opinion World. You might also find surveys commissioned by CINT, Innovate, Global Test Market, SaySo, YourSurveys, Sample Cube, and Pure Spectrum.

You can also get paid by completing offers and testing products with ySense. Here you can watch videos, sign up for websites, and test new services to earn additional cash. Some of the providers that offer such services are Peanut Labs, Coupons, Persona.ly, and more.

Another way to get paid is by completing some tasks online. Some examples of the tasks offered by ySense include performing a simple Google search, joining a contest, and identifying and categorizing images.

The tasks come with a set of instructions, as well as training to ensure that you understand what it is about and what you need to do. You will also be evaluated so that ySense can determine whether you're a good fit for the task.
If ySense seems familiar to you, that is because its name was recently changed from Clixsense. It is still owned by Prodege LLC, the same company that owns Swagbucks MyPoints, Shoply, InboxDollars, and more.

How Much Does it Cost to Join ySense?

Joining ySense is 100% free. Just sign up by using your email and providing a unique password. After signing up, you should check and confirm your email. You will then be routed to your member's dashboard.

To get started, you need to complete your profile so ySense can evaluate if you are the right person for a certain task. You will need to give them your full name and address. You will also be asked to choose which type of emails you'd want to receive. You can receive emails about surveys and deals.

You'll find a checklist of sorts at the right side of your screen. This is the Daily Checklist Bonus where you can earn a little amount just by completing some daily tasks. The dashboard also shows your account summary, profile and settings, and transaction history. You can also edit your profile here. All ySense news can be found at the bottom part of the page.

How Will You Get Paid?

Now here comes the most important part which is getting paid. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can choose to receive your reward via PayPal, or Reward Link (Italy). Other payment methods, such as Skrill and Payoneer, are still not accepted.

If you frequently shop at Amazon and would appreciate a gift card, you can also choose to do so. This is available for residents of the US, Italy, European Union, and Great Britain. You can also choose the card value you want. The card value ranges from $10 to $500.

Note that different payment options also have a minimum payment threshold. Let's say you want to claim an Amazon gift card. You need to have at least $5 before you can request a cashout. If you want to request a PayPal cashout, make sure that you have at least $10 in your ySense account.

If you're ready to request a cashout, simply go to your profile and click 'Cashout.' This button is located right beside your available balance.

The ySense Affiliate Program

You can earn additional cash by becoming a ySense affiliate. Share ySense to your family and friends to be rewarded as much as 30% commission for every successful referral.

To share ySense, all you need to do is find your unique affiliate link in your profile, copy, and paste it on your Facebook or any other social media pages. You'll get $.10 or $.30 for every person who clicks your link, signs up, and becomes an active ySense user.

Note that this bonus is reserved for top-tier countries only. What are these countries? This includes most Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Hong Kong, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Click this link for a complete list of top-tier countries.

Other Things Users Need to Know About ySense

There is an age restriction for users

Users from the United States have to be at least 13 years old to be eligible. Users in other countries need to be at least 16 years old to participate. ySense will deactivate your account once it detects that you are are not eligible to join.

ySense can deactivate accounts

ySense can deactivate an account (or accounts) if a user creates multiple accounts or shares similar accounts to other people in their household. Having more than one account per household, however, is allowed.

Tasks will not always be available

That's right. Tasks are not always available as their availability will depend on the third-party task company. Users are advised to check their dashboard now and then to see if tasks are available.

You can be disqualified from taking a particular survey even before you are done

Let's say that a survey has been offered to you. You've entered your date of birth, age, and gender. You then choose your income bracket, and suddenly the system says that you are not qualified. Don't be surprised. This is just a part of the evaluation process. The system determines if you are qualified for a certain survey by checking certain variables. The bottom line is it will happen a lot.

What I Like About ySense

A lot of opportunities from the get-go

You don't have to wait long for a survey, an offer, or a task. After completing your profile, you check out the Daily Checklist portion at the right side of the screen to check if there are tasks, surveys or offers available for you.

Available for users in many countries

This is good news for people living in other countries. ySense is available not just for residents of Canada, the US, or the UK. This is unlike other GPT sites that are inaccessible and useless the moment the system detects your IP address.

Easy to navigate dashboard

ySense's dashboard is easy to use and easy to navigate. You can find the summary of each task on top of the page along with other helpful information. The users' personal information, other account details, and Daily Checklist Bonus are located in the middle of the page.

Users can also find important news and updates about ySense at the bottom of the page.

Rewards are in cash, not points

You will automatically see the amount you can redeem because, unlike other GPT sites, ySense rewards are already in cash (cents, to be exact). These are not in point that you may have trouble computing whenever you want to redeem them

Multiple cashout methods users can choose from

There a lot of cashout methods you can choose from. There are PayPal and Amazon gift cards that are available in different currencies. Payoneer and Skrill are still iffy but may become additional payment options later on.

What I Don't Like About ySense

Surveys, tasks, and offers are not always available

The sad thing about GPT sites is that there's not enough surveys, tasks, and offers to go around. The availability of these tasks depends on whether you're qualified or not. As mentioned, there will be instances when you'll be automatically disqualified even while you're in the middle of a survey simply because of your age or income or the type of industry or field where you belong.

Skrill and Payoneer are unavailable

If you're a Skrill or Payoneer users, then there's bad news for you. As of the time of writing, ySense is yet to be authorized by these companies. It means that you won't be able to receive your reward via these payment methods. You can use good old PayPal and Amazon gift cards instead.

Is ySense a Scam?

In my opinion, ySense is not a scam. It is a legitimate GPT website acquired by Prodege LLC. It was formerly named Clixsense, and its status as a Prodege LLC brand should be enough to cement its reputation as a legit GPT site.

Users can earn money with ySense simply by answering surveys and completing offers and tasks. They can also share ySense links in their social media pages, blogs, forums, and websites to promote the website. ySense members can earn as much as 30% commission for each successful and active referral.

If you're asking me if ySense is worth your time, then it depends on some factors. It's great if you only want to earn a little bit of cash in your spare time. If you're already familiar with Swagbucks and other GPT sites, then you know by now that you can't rely on them. The pay ridiculously but justifiably low, and tasks are not always available. These tasks become even scarce for users who live in other countries.
