Guerrilla Trading is run by Joshua Bunker, and he claims he can help you become a full-time forex trader.

Is this legit or another investing scam?

We'll get to the bottom of this question in this review.

Additionally, we'll look at what's being offered and if there are any red flags (there definitely are red flags).

By the time you're done reading, you'll know if Guerrilla Trading is worth it or not.

Let's get started now!

Guerrilla Trading Summary

Creator: Joshua Bunker

Price to join: $499

Do I recommend? No

   Overall rating: 2/5

Joshua Bunker is a self-taught forex trader, and while that might seem like a nice story, that's not someone I would want to learn from.

For example, Bunker's strategy for trading forex relies entirely on technical analysis.

This is a strategy no serious investor uses, and most legitimate investors say technical analysis is completely fraudulent.

Nowhere does Bunker show his track record or offer any proof that he's a profitable trader.

This is just your typical forex training program from an online guru.

The one good thing about Guerrilla Trading is that it's affordable, and it's only a one-time fee.

At least Bunker isn't nickel-and-diming his customers.

Red Flag #1: Technical Analysis

If you read the "about me" section at Guerrilla Trading, you'll see that the founder, Joshua Bunker, is a self-taught forex trader.

He developed his own system and doesn't have any institutional experience.

This means he hasn't worked at any major banks or investment firms.

And you can really tell this because he teaches technical analysis.

Technical analysis is the belief that you can predict where the price of an asset is headed based on its previous movements.

Here's an example of a technical analysis chart:

As you can see, the only thing that matters in technical analysis is the pattern on a chart.

The idea is that prices move in a predictable manner, and if you can understand the patterns, you can guess when an asset is going down or up.

Sounds great, right?

The problem with this kind of trading is that it doesn't work, and no serious investor takes this stuff seriously.

For example, Warren Buffet explicitly says technical analysis is nonsense.

I've read stories of people who tried to do technical analysis on Wall Street and were essentially laughed out of the room.

Technical analysis ignores the real world.

You won't be investing in a currency based on what the country of that currency is actually doing.

It all just gets reduced to little movements on a chart.

That's why no billionaires or serious investors do this stuff.

Red Flag #2: Only Backtested Results

Another major red flag is that there's zero proof that Joshua Bunker or anyone at Guerrilla Trading is a successful forex trader.

The only thing even close to results at Guerrilla Trading is "backtested" results.

Backtesting means you develop a trading system and then look at trades you could have made in the past.

The problem with backtesting is that you get to use hindsight, which gives you a significant advantage.

Here's an example of a backtesting strategy failing in real time.

Mindful Trader is a trading community run by a guy named Eric Ferguson.

Ferguson is much smarter than me and is probably smarter than you too.

He got a perfect score on the math section of his SATs, graduated first in his class, and has an economics degree from Stanford.

Ferguson developed an investing strategy that he backtested and got incredible results from.

He backtested the last 20 years and had an average return in the triple digits every year.

So what happened when he went live with his trading strategy?

He lost a serious amount of money.

Ferguson tracked his results, took the results down, and started over.

It doesn't look like he's beating the market in 2023 either.

So you can be a mathematical genius and have the best backtesting results imaginable, but that doesn't mean jack.

All that matters is live trading.

This again proves that technical analysis doesn't work.

Red Flag #3: Forex Success Rate

Trading kind of blew up during COVID.

People were on lockdown and could really only be on their computers.

So people started to look into things like trading as a way to make money.

A certain group of day traders made millions and life-changing amounts of money.

These riches, of course, weren't actually made from trading and instead were made from selling courses and chatroom access.

The real truth is that trading is basically impossible to succeed with, and this has been proven in various studies over and over.

The best-run studies, which followed hundreds of thousands of traders, show the success rate is about 1%.

There are a million reasons why:

  • Bad trading education (like technical analysis)
  • It is impossible to guess the short-term movements of assets.
  • High fees are involved.
  • Long hours are needed for trading.

And more.

But when you add up everything that has to do with trading, you get about a 1% success rate.

Most people lose between 15% and 30% of their accounts every year.

Long-term investing is the only real way to make money with forex and investing.

Investing in the market pretty much guarantees 10% to 13% in yearly returns over time.

And that doesn't require you to spend hours a day looking at silly charts and patterns.

If you go for quick profits using technical analysis, you're bound to fail, just like Eric Ferguson did.

Guerrillia Trading FAQ's

Still have questions about this program?

Here are answers to any questions you might have about Guerrilla Trading.

1) Is Guerrilla Trading fairly priced?

I don't think you should buy Guerrilla Trading because it teaches trading forex, which has a 1% success rate.

Additionally, there are a lot of reasons to avoid this service.

However, the price isn't bad.

There are similar trading companies that literally cost 10 times more, and the cost is yearly.

But Guerilla Trading costs only $499 per year and is just a one-time cost.

That's a pretty good deal, to be honest.

2) What Is Guerrilla Trading offering?

Again, you do get a decent amount of training for the price.

With your Lfietime membership, you get:

  • Foundational training series
  • Trade forecasts
  • Different trading systems
  • Trade management system
  • Funding opportunities
  • Support

So if you really do want to be a part of the 1% that makes money trading forex, this wouldn't be a bad way to try and do it.

3) Is Joshua Bunker legit?

Probably not.

Listen, he claims over 12,000 people have signed up for Guerilla Trading, which means he's made over $6,000,000 selling subscriptions.

Nobody ranking in this kind of cash is going to be day trading forex and spending hours looking at charts all day.

You'd be insane to do that.

Why would you work so hard for a 1% chance at making money when you've already hit the jackpot?

I highly doubt Bunker even trades anymore, and I doubt he was ever really a "successful" forex trader.

4) Is there a refund policy?

Nope.

In the terms of service, it states, "Our refund policy is straightforward. We don’t offer refunds. If you choose to cancel before the end of the month’s pre-billing, a credit will not be issued, and your subscription or service will remain active through the end of the billed monthly period."

So that's not good.

But, again, Bunker isn't making millions by giving refunds.

Wrapping Things Up

So that's the end of my review of Guerilla Trading.

In the end, I'd say this training might significantly improve your odds of success with forex.

Maybe you'll go from a 1% chance of success to a 5% chance.

And this means years of work to have a 5% chance at making a full-time living trading forex.

You'd be better off going to college and just trying to get a job with a legitimate bank if forex interests you.

Even better would be to just invest in stocks and currencies over the long term and not try to day trade them.
