Jeff Williams Market Navigator Review (Scam Or Legit?)

Market Navigator is an option alert service from Jeff Williams.

He has a simple strategy that involves options and puts against the S&P 500.

Can this make you money, or is this another investing scam?

We'll answer that question in this review.

Additionally, we'll take a look at what you're getting and see if I can find any red flags.

The Deceptive Nature Of Raging Bull

Raging Bull is one of the biggest brands in the trading space.

However, they're one of the most deceptive and predatory companies out there.

This is the kind of company that's going to relentlessly push upsells on you and try to get you to spend as much money as possible.

It gets even worse than that.

Raging Bull was recently accused of being a $137 million fraud, and the FTC sued them for their deception.

Eventually, Raging Bull settled for $2.4 million with the customers they defrauded.

Some of the things Raging Bull did were horrible enough for me to never recommend their products.

Things they did include:

• Using Bogus earnings claims to trick customers
• Overcharged custoemrs
• Made it impossible for customers to cancel subscriptions.

And more.

Ultimately, Raging Bull made promises like "make $10,000 a week" and things of this nature.

Many people ended up losing their life savings.

It's boiler room-type stuff.

And the cherry on top is that Raging Bull would sue anybody who called them out!

So not only do they treat their customers horribly, they bully people who tell the truth.

Just an absolutely awful company.

Avoid Technical Analysis

One thing that concerns me about Maret Navigator is that it relies heavily on technical analysis to make trades.

Technical analysis is the idea that you can guess where the price of an asset is headed solely based on the movements of the price.

Here's an example of what that looks like:

This chart will supposedly tell you where the stock is headed based on the valleys and peaks.

However, I don't like technical analysis and think it's a bunch of BS.

The idea that a chart can tell you where a stock's price is going to be in a short period of time is ridiculous.

And that's not just an opinion that I have.

No serious investor uses technical analysis.

You won't see billionaires making investments this way, and you won't see anyone on Wall Street doing this either.

Buffet is saying you can't really get anything valuable out of these charts.

I tend to agree with the best investor of all time.

What Is The Strategy?

The strategy that Jeff Williams uses is pretty simple.

Basically, you're just doing simple options and puts against the S&P 500.

You'll be using The SPY Option Chain to make these trades against the SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which tracks the performance of the S&P 500.

The SPY Option Chain shows you all the available options for the SPDR S&P 500.

The reason this can be valuable is because it helps you read market sentiment, and you'll be able to assess volatility and potential profit.

However, there is one big problem with these option alert services.

They really only work if you can input the trade at the exact time that Williams makes his trade.

If not, by the time you go to input the trade, the price will have changed.

There are scenarios where Williams may make money and you don't because of this.

So I'd only consider this service if you're going to be in the chat when he makes his recommendations.

What Do You Get?

As far as what you get, it's pretty similar to what other options services are offering.

Here's an overview of everything:

Daily Trade

Every day at 9 a.m., you will get the SPY trade of the day from Jeff.

This comes with his trading plan and the option contract he's making.

Again, the strategy is either an option or a put against the SPDR S&P 500.

The trade never suffers from this.

Live Trading Room

One of the nice features of Market Navigator is that Jess runs an online chatroom for his members.

Many online gurus don't actually sit in their own trading rooms.

They tend to delegate that stuff to someone below them.

But it looks like Jeff does actually sit in the chatroom, and you'll have chances to ask him questions.

Actionable Reversal Trades

These are more trades that Jeff makes throughout the day in his car and are different from his daily SPY option call.

These seem to be more day trades.

I wouldn't recommend anyone getting involved in day trading because the success rate is absurdly low (around 1%).

No Track Record To Look At

Jeff Williams does two things to show you that he's legit.

The first is to show you his top trades, and the second is to show customer reviews from Trust Pilot.

However, neither of these two are sufficient to prove Jeff is legit.

Anyone can cherry-pick their best trades and make it seem like they always win.

There should be a full track record so you can look at all of Jeff's past trades and see how he actually

And if Jeff were beating the market, he would do that, and it should be pretty clear why he doesn't have a track record for you to look at.

Additionally, the customer reviews at Trust Pilot shouldn't be trusted either.

You can game the Trust Pilot system.

All Jeff has to do is ask beginners to leave positive reviews, which is exactly what happened.

Additionally, you can pay to moderate the reviews and get bad reviews removed.

There Are No Refunds

This is another red flag, in my opinion.

All services like Market Navigator should come with some sort of money-back guarantee.

However, none are offered with Market Navigator.

I went searching through the terms and conditions, and they only offer credit refunds in the first 30 days.

This means you can only use the money to buy other Raging Bull products.

I wouldn't trust anyone at Raging Bull, so you're not going to want any other product they sell.

Wrapping Things Up

So that's the end of my review of Market Navigator.

There are some things to like about this service.

Williams seems like the best trader at Raging Bull, and he does sit in the chat room every day.

Most gurus don't do that, so at least you will get to ask him questions during the trading day.

However, I still don't think Market Navigator is worth it.

Raging Bull is a terrible company with a rotten history.

They've proven they'll do anything (legal or illegal) to get money from you.

They'll lie about returns and fake testimonials.

Raging Bull will make it impossible to cancel your subscription and give you bad customer service.

And if you speak up against their bad business practices and lousy products, they'll sue you for defamation.

Why would you want to give your money to people like this?
