Who Is Mike Pearson?
Mike Pearson is the creator of Niche Site Academy.
There's not a ton out there about Mike but after doing some research it's pretty clear that he's legit.
He runs a well known website where you can find Niche Site Academy called Stupid Simple SEO.
This website gets tens of thousands of views a month and is very successful.. if you look at the Alexa ranking of Stupid Simple SEO you'll see it's pretty high:
A lot of people having taken his other course on Stupid Simple SEO as well.
There's people that have gotten good results with their blogs after going through the training.
So it's safe to say Mike Pearson knows what he's talking about when it comes to blogging and affiliate marketing.
What Does Niche Site Academy Teach?
Niche Site Academy teaches you how to blog and monetize with affiliate marketing.
The main part of the course is about finding a niche, though.
A niche is the category or topic that you create your website around.
An example of a niche would be camping, bowling, finance, losing weight, etc.
Blogging and creating niche websites is my personal favorite way to make money online.
I've created many profitable blogs over the last few years and the reason I love blogging so much is the traffic is free.
Business is all about profit... how much you make after expenses.
A blog comes with zero expensives basically so there's a lot of room for profit.

Niche Site Academy has 8 modules that walk you through the entire niche website model.. you also get a couple of bonuses.
Here's a look at exactly what you'll learn here:
Module 1: The Niche Site Model
The first module is a very basic one.
Here you'll learn what the difference between a regular blog and blog focused around a niche is.
You'll also learn other key principles of creating a niche blog like how to make money, a look at successful niche sites and more.
Module 2: How To Find A Niche (Part 1)
Finding a niche is broken up into 3 parts and this is part 1.
Module 2 sheds light on how Mike picks niches.
This includes elements a niche must have, how Mike determines if a niche is good or not and various tools to help you as well.
Module 3: How To Find A Niche (Part 2)
Picking a niche for your website is one of the most important steps to making money online.
Some niches are real money makes while others are not.
This module will teach you how to differentiate from winning niche ideas and losing ones.
Module 4: How To Find A Niche (Part 3)
The 3rd part of the niche course is about picking the niche you'll be devoting your time to.
There's a difference between a good niche and a great one.. you'll learn the difference between the two in this section.
Module 5: How To Set Up Your Niche Site
After you've decided on the niche it's time to actually set up your website.
The good news is creating a website is very easy and can be done in a few hours.
This section walks you through all the steps you need to take to create your website.
This includes:
- Picking your domain name
- Which WordPress plugins you need
- How to set up Google analytics and Search Console
- How to set up your website and font/color ideas
- How to choose the right theme for your website.
Module 6: Creating Your Niche Site Structure
The next module is basically an extension of creating your website.
There's certain legal pages and other aspects of your website that need to be ironed out.
You'll learn what pages they are (Homepage, about page, legal pages, contact page) and how to create them.
Module 7: Niche Site Keyword Research
I personally think keyword research is the most important part of getting traffic.
There's a science to picking a good keyword and Mike covers this topic well here.
He shows you how to pick keywords that actually have a chance of ranking and have a chance of getting traffic.
Also, you'll learn how to pick a keyword that will convert.
Module 8: Niche Site Content Creation
The last module you get in this training program is about content creation.
This module covers what kind of content you should be writing and how to satisfy your readers.
You want to write content that actually answers your readers questions.. you'll learn how to do that here.
Bonus 1: Outsourcing And Scaling Content
The first bonus you get goes over outsourcing and scaling content.
As a blogger you're in the content business.. the more high quality content you create the more money you make.
This bonus will teach you how to hire writers so you can produce more articles for your blog.
Bonus 2: Private Facebook Group
The second bonus is a private Facebook Group.
Here you'll be able to interact with other members of the course as well as get any questions you have answered.

1) Is Niche Site Academy worth $397?
Yeah that's a good price for what you're getting.
This isn't the most groundbreaking course ever created but you do get a good amount of training.
The price is definitely worth it if you've struggled picking a niche before.. the niche training is the best part.
2) Is Mike Pearson legit?
There's not a lot out there about Mike and I can't really tell you how successful he really is.
However, it's pretty clear Mike is successful and he knows what he's talking about.
Stupid Simple SEO is a well known blogging website and it gets a lot of views.
3) What do you get with Niche Site Academy?
Niche Site Academy has 8 different modules.
A big focus is picking a niche.. there's 3 different modules dedicated to finding the right niche.
Additionally, you get training on creating content, creating you website, keyword research, outsourcing content and more.
Lastly, you get access to a private Facebook Group.
4) How much do I need to start blogging?
The reason I love blogging so much is it's incredibly affordable to get started with.
The only thing you'll need is website hosting (around $10 a month) and a domain ($10 a year).
Everything else is optional.
The only tool I'd say you 100% need is a keyword research tool.
There's free options out there and some really good paid options that cost around $100 a month.
Besides that there's no other real costs.
5) Is there a payment plan?
Yes you can pay over 3 months at $147 per month.
6) Is there a refund policy?
There's a 30 day refund policy but you need to show that you "took action." Mike never really explains what takes action is, though.
7) Are there any alternatives?
There's a few really good blogging courses out there.

Niche Site Academy is a quality blogging and affiliate marketing course.
If you're a beginner you'll benefit from it.. if you already have experience maybe the niche training can help but you won't learn too much outside of that.
Here's A Better Opportunity
Niche Site Academy is a good course but there's better blogging courses out there.
I've been blogging as a full time career for years now and have created many successful blogs in that time.
