Private Label Masters Review – Does Tim Sanders Deliver?

Private Label Masters is a pricey Amazon FBA course from Tim Sanders.

Who Is Tim Sanders?

There's not a ton of information out there about Tim Sanders.

He does have a fairly popular Youtube channel with over 30K subscribers.

This channel is filled valuable with videos about Amazon with some being over a hour long, like the one below:

According to Tim here are some of his biggest Amazon FBA success:

• Sold $800,000 in his first 8 months
• Sold over $4,200,000 in the next 12 months after.
• Sold over $8,000,000 in the 12 month after that.
• Sold over 250,000 items in 2018
• Sold nearly $200,000 in a 24 hour period
• Sold $1,400,000 in a 30 day period

I can't really verify if these numbers are true or exaggerated but there's nothing about Tim that indicates he's a liar.

I searched around and basically everyone agrees he's legit.

This is a good thing to see.

Many people who put out courses don't even really make money with what they're teaching. 

Private Label Masters Course Overview

Overall this is a well made course and there's 8 modules that go over every step of starting and scaling a FBA business.

Here's a breakdown of each section.

Module 1: Introduction

This section is a typical introduction section.

Here you'll learn about the mindset needed to succeed and about getting rid of the get rich quick mindset.

You'll also learn about the 5 key components to understanding the Amazon FBA business model which includes:

• Mindset
• Licenses
• Taxes
• Liability
• Amazon Fees

Module 2: Product Research

Module 2 is one of the most important and you can tell Tim knows a lot about this topic - he spends 3 hours on product research making this the longest module.

Here you'll learn about the following:

• Products to stay away from
• Trademarks and patents
• How to use product research tools
• How to find low competition niches

Module 3: Product Sourcing

The third module is about product sourcing and is broken into three topics.

The topics are:

• Alibaba - Alibaba is where you'll be finding wholesale products and Tim teaches you how to find the right ones. 
• Building relationships with suppliers - This section is about developing a good relationship with Chinese suppliers.
• Negotiating - The last section is about getting the best possible prices for the products you're interested in.

Module 4: Shipping

Module 4 is a little under 1 hour long and it goes over all things shipping.

Here you'll learn about the following:

• Knowing when to use sea shipping and when to use air shipping
• Using suppliers that Tim has worked with in the past
• Sending shipping labels to your supplier

Model 5: Branding And Listing Optimization 

This is another long section that's over 2 and half hours long.

In this section you'll learn about the following:

• Understanding your product
• Understanding your marketing
• Copywriting techniques to get more sales
• Writing great descriptions that make potential customers want to buy

Module 6: Product Launch Time

This section is the shortest of all and here you'll learn how to launch a product over a 12 week period.

You'll also learn how to create Facebook ads for your products as well.

Module 7: Sponsored Products

The last section was about paid ads on Facebook.

This section is about using paid ads on Amazon.

This involves doing keyword research and paying to show up on the top of Amazon search results when people search for certain products.

I like module 7 a lot and found it very informative/important.

Module 8: Maintaining And Scaling

After you start making sales it's about keeping sales going and growing more.

Module 8 will teach the following:

• How to get positive reviews
• How to handle running out of stock
• Branding
• How to hire virtual assistants to make life easier

And more. 

This Course Is Pricey

I've reviewed a bunch of Amazon FBA courses and one thing is pretty much the same for all of them - they're very expensive.

There's a couple that aren't but most of the quality and well known FBA courses cost several thousand dollars.

Even considering that Private Label Masters is still very expensive at $5000.

This is one of the pricier courses I've reviewed in a while.

I'm always hesitant to recommend training programs this expensive because most people aren't going to succeed.

You really want to keep costs down in the beginning because of this.
