Passive Income, from Ryan Hogue, has a bunch of courses that teach making money online.. mostly about selling on Amazon and print on demand.

If you're here you're probably wondering if theses programs are scams or not.

That's what this review will answer.

Below you'll find everything you need to know about these courses including background information, price to join, overview of what you get and more.

You'll know if Passive Income is worth it by the time you're done.

Let's get into it!

Ryan Hogue Passive Income Summary

Creator: Ryan Hogue

Price to join: $197 to 1497

Do I recommend? Not really

   Overall rating: 2.5/5

Passive Income has a bunch of different courses with the main course being the Amazon FBA one which costs $1497.

It's a decent course but pricey.

That's how I would describe the rest of his courses too.

They offer mediocre training for beginners but there's nothing special about these courses.

There's other programs that are cheaper and offer more.

Better opportunity: My favorite ecommerce course is Ecom Elites. It has extremely high quality training and only costs between $197 to $297. To learn more, click below:

Who Is Ryan Hogue?

Ryan Hogue is the creator of Passive Income.

There's not a ton of information out there about Ryan and he hasn't really been making money online for that long.

He started in 2017 after quitting his job.

According to him he found pretty quick success and now makes well over 6 figures a year with Amazon and course sales.

Which one does he make more with? Who knows.

Ryan does have a Youtube channel that is pretty popular and has over 50k subscribers:

These videos offer some value but it seems odd to me that Ryan posts a video every day..

It would seem like someone with a thriving Amazon business wouldn't have the time to also create video content everyday.

This is what makes me believe a huge part of Ryan's income isn't actually from selling on Amazon.

Passive Income Overview

Passive Income has a bunch of courses that cover Amazon, print on demand and investing.

Here's an overview of each of the courses:

Amazon FBA ($1497)

This is the main course and the course that costs the most,

The Amazon FBA program is a beginner program that teaches you how to sell on Amazon.

It's broken up into 7 modules which includes:

  • Module 1: Intro To Selling On Amazon
  • Module 2: How To Find And Validate Your First Product
  • Module 3: How To Find A Supplier
  • Module 4: Pro Forma Invoice And create Your Amazon Listing
  • Module 5: How To Send Inventory To FBA
  • Module 6: How To Optimize Your Product Listing
  • Module 7: How To Advertise Your Product On Amazon

Amazon Merch ($497)

Amazon Merch shows you how to sell on Amazon with their print on demand program.

Here's the training you get in this course:

  • Module 1: Introduction
  • Module 2: Niche Research And Using Free Tools
  • Module 3: Niche Research And Paid Tools
  • Module 4: The Design Process
  • Module 5: Creating Your Product Listing
  • Module 6: Amazon Marketing Services (AMS)
  • Module 7: Beyond Amazon Merch
  • Bonus: Automation

Print On Demand

This is another print on demand course and does have training about selling on Amazon.. however it includes additional platforms like Ebay and Etsy.

Here's what you'll learn in this course:

  • Module 1: Introduction To Print On Demand
  • Module 2: Production Partners
  • Module 3: Find Profitable Niches
  • Module 4: Create Winning Designs
  • Module 5: Selling On Amazon
  • Module 6: Selling On Etsy
  • Module 7: Selling On Redbubble
  • Module 8: Selling On Ebay
  • Module 9: Additional Platforms And Markets
  • Bonus: Automate The Upload Process

Kindle Direct Publishing ($497)

Kindle Direct Publishing teaches another passive income method.

I have a hard time believing Ryan has much success with Kindle publishing.

Again, he only started 3 years ago and I don't think he could possible be successful with Amazon, print on demand, have a busy Youtube channel AND do kindle publishing.

Anyway.. here's what you get in this course:

  • Module 1: Introduction
  • Module 2: Find Profitable Niches
  • Module 3: Create Your Listing
  • Module 4: Advertise Your Book
  • Module 5: Special Interiors
  • Bonus: Automate The Upload Process

Stock Marketing Investing 101 ($197)

Ryan also has a course on investing and the stock market.

A lot of people think they figured out investing when the stock market crashed during covid..

I wouldn't trust someone's stock advice who just learned investing 6 months ago.

Here's what you get in this course:

  • Module 1: Introduction
  • Module: Get Started
  • Module 3: Stocks
  • Module 4: Options
  • Module 5: Get Rich In A Downturn
  • Bonus: Crypto And Precious Metals

Redbubble ($297)

Redbubble is another print on demand platform.

Here's the training you get in this course:

  • Module 1: Introduction
  • Module 2: Artist Tools
  • Module 3: Research And Design
  • Module 4: Create Products
  • Module 5: Secret Sauce
  • Bonus Automaton

Merch Titans Automation

This is the shortest course that Ryan offers and goes over automation for print on demand.

Here's what you get in this course:

  • Module 1: Introduction
  • Module 2: Design Automation
  • Module 3: POD Upload Automation
  • Module 4: KDP Upload Automation
  • Bonus: Ryan Productivity Hacks

Ryan Offers Too Many Courses

I don't really like it when someone offers a bunch of different courses that overlap.. or when someone offers a bunch of courses on completely different topics.

I've been making money online since 2016.. a year before Ryan started.

I know a lot of people in this game. I know people that have made millions making money online.

Most people get good at one topic.. maybe two.

I find it really hard to believe that Ryan could become an expert on so many different online business models in only 3 years.

I'm most suspicious about the investing course.

It seems to me that Ryan only learned about stocks this past year during covid.

That crash was a once in a lifetime situation.

Ryan isn't qualified in my opinion to be teaching stocks because he made some money in a very unique stock situation.

I made this point earlier but this type of stuff just makes me believe the majority of Ryan's income comes from courses and his Youtube channel.. not from actually doing what he teaches.

Passive Income FAQ's

1) Are these courses worth their price tag?

They're a little expensive in my opinion.

The Amazon course is $1497 and most Amazon courses I review are a little less than that (although Amazon courses are usually expensive).

Ryan's Amazon course is very short, though.

It should honestly cost half of what he's charging.

2) Is Ryan Hogue Legit?

I think he's legit with Amazon and print on demand.. although he does seem to focus a lot on Youtube and making courses.

Not sure how he still has a lot of time to sell on Amazon.

I don't think he's legit with investing and the stock market. It seems he's only been doing that for a few months.

3) What do Passive Income courses teach?

There's a few different topics covered.

The first two cover Amazon.. one covers Amazon FBA and the other covers Amazon Merch.

After that there's a bunch of print on demand courses.

Lastly, there's a course on investing.

4) How much to get started to sell on Amazon?

Amazon requires a pretty good amount of money.

First off, you need training which is going to cost around $1000.

Then you need to actually buy products to ship to Amazon's fulfillment centers which will cost thousands.

After that you'll need to pay for tools and probably pay for traffic as well.

I wouldn't start with Amazon FBA unless you have $10,000+.

5) How much money can I make with Amazon?

It really all depends on your niche and how long you stick with it.

Success is definitely not guaranteed even if you take one of these courses.

But a full time income is possible if you don't give up.

6) Is there a refund policy?

Yes, there's a decent refund policy. You can get your money back if you request one in 14 days and take less than 33% of the course.

7) Are there any alternatives?

Yes, there's many ecommerce courses out there.

Passive Income Pros And Cons

Pros
  • Decent Amazon training: The Amazon course isn't anything special but it's good for beginners.
Cons
  • Expensive: There's other ecommerce course that have twice the training and costs a fraction of the price.
  • Too many courses: Always be a little skeptical of someone that has a ton of courses on different unrelated topics.. it's hard to be an expert in everything.
Is Passive Income a scam?

No I don't think so.

I do think the courses are overpriced and a little skimpy but not a scam.

The investing courses, though, I am a little skeptical about. Who gets into trading and then a few months later puts a course out about it?

Here's A Better Opportunity

I'd pass on Passive Income.

There's a lot of better ecommerce courses out there and if you want the best, check out Ecom Elites.

Ecom Elites has high quality training, it taught by an expert and is very affordable.
