SAS Affiliate Summary

Creator: Barry Plaskow and Jason Caluori

Price to join: $397

Do I recommend? It depends

   Overall rating: 3/5

SAS Affiliate is a solid course that covers affiliate marketing.

The training doesn't really cover anything new in the affiliate marketing world but it does a good job going over the basics.

You'll be a competent affiliate marketer if decide to buy.

However, it's not my favorite affiliate marketing course and there's better out there.

Who Is Barry Plaskow And Jason Caluori?

Barry Plaskow and Jason Caluori are the creators of SAS Affiliate.

There's not too much out there about these two.

As far as Barry goes from what I've gathered he started having success online back in 2010.

Since then he's put out a lot of different courses including courses on affiliate marketing, ecommerce, creating a digital product and more.

There's even less out there about Jason Caluori.

He's apparently a successful copywriter and sold millions of dollars worth of products online.

He's worked with some pretty big names like GFuel and has worked with big name marketers like Tai Lopez.

Both Barry and Jason are respected in the internet marketing world and I couldn't find anything indicating they're scammers or anything like that.

What Does SAS Affiliate Teach?

SAS Affiliate teaches affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is when you promote and market another person's product for a commission.

Your job as an affiliate marketer is to drive traffic to an affiliate link and you get a portion of every sale that's made through your link.

You don't have to handle stock, shipping, take payments, returns or customer service as an affiliate marketer.. that's handled by the affiliate program you're working with.

There's a lot of different ways to do affiliate marketing and SAS Affiliate deals with organic traffic and funnels.

Organic traffic is when you get traffic for free from search engines (mainly Google and Youtube) by targeting keywords (search phrases).

You then create content around these keywords and your content ranks in the search engines for people to click.

This is a legitimate way to make money online and it's my favorite way to do it.

I've made hundreds of thousands online with affiliate marketing.

I've also reviewed all the top affiliate marketing courses.

SAS Affiliate Overview

SAS Affiliate is a pretty typical affiliate marketing course and covers a lot of the same ground that other similar programs cover.

Here's a breakdown of each section:

Introduction And Pre-Game

These first two sections just go over what to expect when taking this course and how to prepare for everything.

Picking Products

Affiliate marketing starts with the product you're going to be promoting.

The first real part of the training begins here and shows you which products you should be promoting.. as well as where to find them.

Picking Keywords

The next affiliate marketing concept covered in the training is keywords and your niche.

In this section you'll learn about selecting a niche that's good for affiliate marketing, which keyword tools you'll need and which keywords you should be targeting.

Writing Content

After you have your niche and keywords selected it's time to start creating content.

This section is pretty short and gives you tips on creating content that will convert and how to create outlines.

Also, you'll get training on outsourcing content.

Site Building

The next step in the process is to create a website which scares some people.. however, it's the easiest step in the process.

You'll be using Groovepages to build out your website and you'll get training on how to use this tool.

Building Links

There's a lot of debate over whether links actually work and there's a lot of training devoted to links in SAS Affiliate.. it's the section in the training with the most videos.

So you know where Barry and Jason fall on this  debate.

In this section you'll learn how to get authority websites to link to your website to increase your rankings in search engines.

Templates

Jason has created dozens of landing pages and templates in Groovepages that you can use for yourself.

Live Training

Every week you get a new recording that covers an aspect of affiliate marketing.

This ensures the training is constantly updating.

Various Bonuses

You get three bonuses as well and they are:

  • Ecom Email Empire Series
  • Webinars from Jason
  • Interview with Zac Benson who is an Instagram growth expert

Private Facebook Group

Additionally, when you sign up for this course you get access to a private Facebook community.

Here is where you can get any questions that you have answered and you can get to know other members in the course.

SAS Affiliate FAQs

1) Is SAS Affiliate worth $397?

I think that might be a little pricey but it probably is in the ballpark of what this course should cost.

If it were just the core training I would say it's overpriced because you'll only really learning the basics in the core training.

However, you get weekly live training that makes the course more valuable.

2) Are the course creators legit?

There really isn't too much out there about Barry or Jason.

However, they do get some endorsements from internet marketing heavy hitters like Russel Brunson from Clickfunnels.

Someone like Brunson wouldn't be endorsing just anyone.

3) How long is the course?

The core training is pretty short and is broken up into 6 main parts.

Besides that there's some bonus training and weekly live training as well.

4) What will I learn in SAS Affiliate?

You will be learning the affiliate marketing business model.

Particularly you'll be learning how to do organic affiliate marketing and how to create a website with Groovepage.

Organic affiliate marketing is my favorite way to make money and it's a completely legit way to start an online business.

5) Is there a refund policy?

There's a no refund policy which is very disappointing to see.. most reputable courses offer some sort of money back guarantee.

6) Are there payment plans available?

Yes, there's two options to pay if you can't afford the single payment.

The first is to pay over 3 months and pay $167 per month.. this comes out to $501 in total.

The second options is to pay over 5 months and pay $97 per month.. this comes out to $485.

7) Does the course get updated?

I'm not sure if the main part of the course gets updated.

However, there's live training every single week. I consider this updating the course.

8) How much do I need to start with affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is so attractive because it's very inexpensive to get started with.

There's very few costs outside of training.

You'll need to pay for hosting and a domain name.. this will cost only $10 or so a month.

Other than that everything else is a luxury. You can pay for a keyword tool and page builder. This will likely cost you a couple hundred a month.

9) Are there alternatives?

Yes, there's plenty of affiliate marketing courses out there.

SAS Affiliate Pros And Cons

Pros
  • Good training: The training is solid and covers everything you'll need to know about affiliate marketing.
  • Successful instructors: A lot of people teach making money online without actually knowing how to do it themselves. It's clear Barry and Jason are successful internet marketer.
  • Pretty affordable: The price is fair.. there's courses that offer half as much and charge twice as much.
Cons
  • No refund policy: Most courses I review come with a refund policy.. this one doesn't which is very odd.
  • Nothing special: There's a bunch of affiliate marketing courses out there.. this one is a lot like other ones I've come across.
Is SAS Affiliate a scam?

Definitely not.

This course is a good affiliate marketing course and it's definitely good for beginners too.

I just think there's better options out there where you can get more for your money.

Here's A Better Opportunity

SAS Affiliate is a good course but it's not the best out there.

I've spent the last few years taking and reviewing all the top affiliate marketing courses out there.

Some are good.. some are scams.. and a few standout as the best.
