The business model is low-cost outside of running ads and is definitely beginner-friendly.

I believe the course is well made, and the owners are legit.

However, the price is a major turnoff.

There's print-on-demand training everywhere. You can find it for free on YouTube and in guides everywhere else.

Also, there are a ton of courses that are more affordable.

I just can't justify paying so much for print-on-demand training.

What I Like About Ecom Family Academy

There's definitely a lot to like about this course.

Here's what I personally like about it:

The course is not overwhelming

Many times, a course will try to stuff too much into it, and beginners may feel overwhelmed.

But that's not the case with the Ecom family.

Instead of giving you training on every single social media platform, they give you training on Facebook and TikTok.

Each of these platforms is great for print on demand, and each of them can provide you plenty of business to reach whatever goals you have.

Legit course instructors

Mr and Mrs. Ecom are legitmate instrucotrs and actually ahve success in ecommerce.

They've won awards from Clickfunnels for making a certain amount of sales and overall are good marketers.

The #1 thing you'll need to have success with print on demand is marketing, and these two seem to have nailed that aspect of their lives.

Low cost business

Print on Demand is a low cost business so it's good for people with big dreams and a small bank account.

POD is often considered a low-cost business model for several key reasons:

  1. Minimal Initial Investment: Unlike traditional retail or manufacturing businesses, POD requires very little upfront investment. There's no need to purchase large quantities of stock, as products are only printed when a customer places an order. This significantly reduces the initial capital required to start the business.
  2. No Inventory Management: Since products are made to order, there's no need to manage inventory, which can be a significant cost in terms of both money and time. This eliminates the risks associated with overproduction or unsold stock, and the costs associated with storing and managing inventory.
  3. Reduced Overhead Costs: A POD business often does not require a physical storefront or a large storage space, which substantially reduces overhead costs like rent, utilities, and maintenance. Many POD businesses operate online, further reducing the need for physical infrastructure.

What I Don't Like About Ecom Family Academy

This offer is far from perfect, though, and there are definitely aspects I don't appreciate.

This includes:

Too expensive

This course should be priced anywhere from $199 to $499.

Courses like Ecom Family Academy are not that expensive to make, and there's no overhead cost or anything like that.

All they have to do is pay some hosting fees every month, but that can't be more than a few hundred a month.

Offering this course for $1495 is borderline absurd for what's being offered.

If you're going to pay that much, then you should have a store created for you, over-the-shoulder training on your ads, and more.

They do offer good customer service and are quick to answer people's questions, which I'm guessing is how they justify their cost.

But I personally wouldn't pay $1495 for a print-on-demand course unless it had some insane extra benefits.

I've made hundreds of thousands of dollars online and have never paid more than a few hundred for a course.

Paid advertising

Another thing I don't like about the training is that it relies on paid advertising.

There are two kinds of traffic: organic and paid.

Organic traffic is traffic you earn from Google searches, Youtube, and places like that.

You don't pay for that traffic.

Paid traffic is when you run ads on social media and stuff like that.

Print on demand can only really be done with paid advertising, so you'll always have to pay for customers.

This means tighter margins and losing money in the beginning.

I personally have never been good at paid advertising either.

Paid advertising requires attention to detail, which I'm not very good at.

That's why I like businesses that use free organic traffic.


Wrapping Things Up

So that's the end of my review of The Ecom Family Academy.

Overall, I think the Jennings family seems nice, and they seem legit.

Some people look at people who sell courses as scam artists, but that's not true.

You can make a lot of money selling knowledge, and just because someone is doing that doesn't mean they're scam artists.

Mr. and Mrs. Ecom are talented marketers, and that has helped them be successful with print on demand.

Now, where you can criticize them is how they price their course.

It's simply too much.

I would never recommend someone pay thousands of dollars for any course that teaches making money online.

There's just too many alternatives out there, and the Ecom Family Academy course offers nothing extra or special.

So my advice is that if you're set on trying print on demand, look up Youtube channels and find a cheaper course.

Make sure this is something you want to do before dropping thousands.
