If you're here you're probably wondering if it's a scam or not.

That's what this review will answer.

You'll know if this course is worth it by the time you're done.

Let's get into it!

The Swag Academy Course Summary

Creator: Swaggy C (Chris Williams)

Price to join: $499

Do I recommend? No

   Overall rating: 2.5/5

The Forex Blueprint from Swag Academy is a below average course.

Swaggy C, the creator, does a good job at explaining topics and making them easy to understand.

But the training will not teach you advanced forex topics and it's overpriced.

I'd skip it.

Who Is Swaggy C?

Swaggy C (Chris Williams) is the creator of Swag Academy and The Forex Blueprint.

Before becoming a day trader Swaggy C was actually a reality TV personality.

He competed on the 20th season of Big Brother and came in 15th place. He also competed on The Challenge.

This makes sense because the production value on his videos on Youtube are very high.

You can tell he comes from an entertainment background.

Swaggy claims he makes millions day trading and claims he'll make over $10 million trading in a 12 month period.

I have no clue if this is true and really, really doubt he makes this much trading.

He only started trading a few years ago and it just seems impossible to make that much in that short of time.

He wouldn't be wasting his time selling courses if that was the case too.

Here's a video explaining how a lot of these day trading guys can lie and make up fake accounts to make it seem like they're making a lot of money:

I've been reviewing courses that teach making money from home and online for years.

People lie about how much they make all the time. I wouldn't just take Swaggy C's word for how much he's making.

Who Is This Course For?

This course claims that it is for anyone that wants to go from beginner to advanced in Forex.

That's not really true.

The training in Swag Academy is really just for beginners and that's about it.

Swaggy C does do a good job at explaining things in an easy to understand way.

He doesn't try to come as the smartest person in the world and he avoids jargon a lot of time.

This is a good thing.

But the training in Swag Academy isn't for people that already understand the basics.

The Forex Blueprint Overview

Previously Swaggy C sold different "series" instead of having one course.

The series were broken up by skill level with Series 1 being for beginners and Series 4 being for advanced people.

The Forex Blueprint is just a combination of all these series into one course.

Here's a breakdown of each series.

  • Series 1 (32 lessons): Series 1 is an introduction to forex where you'll learn the absolute basics. You'll also see very simple forex strategies as well.
  • Series 2 (31 lessons): Series 2 goes a little deeper into risk management and psychology. You'll also get more training on entries and exits.
  • Series 3 (33 lessons): Series 3 just builds on the last two series. You get various trading strategies as well as more psychology training.
  • Series 4 (38 lessons): This is supposedly the training that will make you elite. There's a heavy emphasis on taxes and risk management in this section.

In all you get over 100 brisk videos regarding trading, psychology, risk management and taxes.

There's only really 10 or so hours of training which isn't much.

The Swag Academy FAQs

1) Is The Swag Academy's course worth $499?

Probably not.

$499 is the price you should pay for a premium, high quality course.

I don't think the training in The Forex Blueprint is premium. You can find the same training in other free courses on Youtube.

2) Is Swaggy C legit?

In an interview I read Swagg C said he's going to make $10 million in 12 months from trading.

I don't think there's any chance that's true LOL..

So that raises a red flag for me. He does seem to know what he's talking about, though.

I just don't think he's making the money he says he is. There would be no reason for him to be selling courses if he was.

3) How long is the course?

This course is broken up into 4 series and each series has around 30 lessons.

In total there's around 10 hours of content.

The videos are short, though, which has it's benefits and drawbacks.

You should be able to get through it in a week without much of a problem.

4) How much money do I need to start trading?

Most people recommend that you don't start unless you have a minimum $2000 but you'll probably want more than that.

Most professionals suggest starting with $5000.

You may make some bad trades in the beginning so you need some breathing room to compensate for newbie loses.

5) What does The Forex Blueprint teach?

This is a day trading course that focuses on forex.

The main part of the training revolves around different trading strategies, psychology, risk management and taxes.

6) Is there a refund policy?

There is a refund policy and it's decent.

You can get your money back in 30 days but you can't have viewed more than 10% of the course.

That's not really enough to determine if a course is right for you.

7) Does the course get updated?

Yes it does. You do get the updates for free as a member of The Swag Academy.

8) How much money can I make with forex?

This is not a get rich business model.

You need to take your time and really learn things.

Most people think you can make 5% to 15% on your overall account. So if you're trading $5000 per month you can probably average $250 to $750 monthly profit.

9) Are there any alternatives?

Yes.

There's definitely better places to learn stocks and get stock picks.

The Swag Academy Pros And Cons

Pros
  • Easy to understand: Swaggy C doesn't try to turn everything into jargon.. he makes it easy to understand and doesn't make it complicated.
Cons
  • Misleading income claims: In an interview Swagg C claimed he's going to make $10 million in a 12 month period. I'm calling bullshit on that. He wouldn't be selling courses for $499 if that were the case.
  • Basic training: Swaggy C claims this course will take you from beginner to advanced but that's not the case. This is just a beginner course and won't teach you anything that advanced.
  • Bad refund policy: 30 days is a good amount of time to get your money back but you can only get through 10% of the course. That's not very good.
Is The Swag Academy A Scam?

I don't think that's the case.

I believe Swagg C knows what he's talking about and the course explains some good beginner stuff.

It's just overpriced and the training is too basic.
