Wholesale Academy is a course from Amazon FBA superstar Larry Lubarsky.

But just because Lubarsky is successful doesn't mean he's a good teacher or his course is worth it.

That's what this review we'll determine.

In this article you'll see everything you need to know about Wholesale Academy including background information, price to join, course overview and more.

You'll know if this course is right for you by the time you're done reading.

Let's get into it.

Wholesale Academy Summary

Product: Wholesale Academy

Price to join: $1997 or 4 payments of $697

Rating: 70/100

Do I recommend? Yes, if you want to do Amazon FBA

Summary: Wholesale Academy is a very detailed and comprehensive course about Amazon FBA and is probably one of the better ones you can get.

It comes from Larry Lubarsky who has proven he's very good at making money this way and has made millions doing so.

My main issue is the crazy high price to join and the cost of starting an Amazon FBA business (you'll have to buy thousands in products).

So unless you have thousands to spend on your business you'll want to look for a different way to make money online.

Better opportunity: There's ways to do dropshipping and ecommerce that won't cost you thousands of dollars. Click below to see how this is possible.

What Is Amazon FBA?

Amazon FBA is the money making method being taught with Wholesale Academy.

Amazon FBA is a good way to make money if you can afford it because it's much simpler than shipping your own products.

Here's the steps involved in this type of business:

  1. Buy products in bulk and send them to an Amazon fulfillment center (there's 100's of them in America alone).
  2. Amazon stores and sorts your products in their warehouses. Any damages done to the products Amazon will reimburse you.
  3. You handle all the marketing and advertising and drive people to your products page on Amazon.
  4. Customers buy your products from Amazon and Amazon handles payment, shipping and most of customer service.
  5. You get paid after Amazon deducts seller fees every two weeks.

Basically your main job is to keep products in stock and drive customers to your Amazon page.

Obviously there's a million reasons Amazon fulfillment is awesome and that includes:

  • Fast shipping times
  • Everyone knows and trusts Amazon
  • No dealing with payments or refunds
  • Customer service is dealt with
  • No need to find storage for your products

There's some disadvantages to this way of making money, though. The main disadvantages are:

  • You need thousands for this business because you need to buy products in bulk.
  • Small margins and you might find it difficult to make a profit.
  • Storage fees

The main disadvantage is the large upfront cost of this type of business. You have to be comfortable with potentially losing thousands here.

This is why Amazon FBA isn't my favorite way to make money from home.

Who Is Larry Lubarsky?

Larry Lubarsky is a very successful wholesale seller and he does $10+ million in sales every single year.

Larry started selling on Amazon as a third party seller when he was just 31 and in that time has sold thousands of different products on Amazon.

He's grown to the point where he has 10 different employees. Pretty incredible for a person that was 30 and living with his mom ($100,000 in debt).

On an average day Larry sells up to 2000 products a day.

You can say he's definitely an expert and more than legit.

One thing that's important to point out when he first got started he had to get $60,000 in investments from friends.

Additionally he had to spend another $10,000 on shipping. They handled the storage, packing and shipping of products in the beginning.

In Larry's own words he worked round the clock to make a profit.

Now obviously this is all worth it in retrospect because he ended making millions.

Not everyone will come close to this kind of success and not everyone will have the money or time to handle everything themselves, though.

That's why I say wholesale selling can be very expensive.

Larry also says this is like opening a real brick and mortar business like a restaurant.

Not every online/home business takes this kind effort.

Module 8 - Growing Business

This section is 3 videos long and is about scaling your business into the big leagues.

Bonus 1 - Live Coaching

A lot of online training courses have bi-weekly or monthly live coaching sessions and that's what bonus 1 is.

All live coachings are recorded so you can watch them later as well.

It's always good to get live coaching as well so you can ask questions and get direct help with your business.

Bonus 2 - Special Guests

This section is training from various million dollar wholesalers. You'll hear stories of how these people succeeded as well as tips to grow your own business.

Bonus 3 - Amazon EU/UK

Wholesaling in America is different than wholesaling in Europe. This section helps you get started with Amazon FBA if you're overseas.

Bonus 4 - Amazon Bundles 101

Bundling is a technique wholesalers use to boost sales and products. This section is all about learning the best ways to do that.

Bonus 5 - Custom Amazon Software

The software in Bonus 5 hasn't been released yet but is coming soon. It's Larry's own software that he uses.

It's most likely a product research tool or something along those lines. You will get 3 months access to this software for free.

Bonus 6 - Facebook Group

Lastly, you get access to the private Facebook group where you can ask questions and interact with other students.

This Facebook is very active as well so you should always get answers to your questions.

What I Like About Whole Academy

There's a lot to like about this course and here's the main things I like:

Larry Lubarsky is legit

Larry Lubarsky isn't one of those fake it til you make types - he's the real deal. He's a well known wholesaler and there's been pieces done about him in major publications like CNBC.

If you decide to buy this course at least you know you're learning from someone who knows what they're talking about.

Comprehensive course

This is a true Amazon FBA course and will walk you through all the steps you need.

You'll learn about winning products and niches as well as shipping strategies and how to keep products in stock.

You'll learn everything you need to be successful here.

Good Bonuses

The course is legit and very informative and the bonuses are like a cherry on top.

The bonuses offer legit value like live coaching, a private Facebook group and training from other successful wholesalers.

This is a solid course but there's things I don't like including:

Course is expensive

I once read that most people don't have more than a couple hundred in their bank account.

Wholesale Academy is nearly $2000 and this means most people won't be able to afford it.

Amazon FBA is expensive and stressful

There's many ways to make money from home and on the internet. Some ways can be started for basically free and be done in a couple hours of day.

This isn't the case with Amazon FBA.

Besides paying thousands for a course you'll need to spend thousands on stock as well.

Larry himself had to hit up friends and raise $60,000 to buy products in the beginning.

This is a lot of money to invest for most people and you shouldn't do Amazon FBA unless you can afford to spend and lose thousands.

Tight margins

20% of every sale goes to Amazon and this leaves a small profit window for you.

While many wholesalers hype up this business model they leave that piece of information out.

This means you really have to pick the right products or you're just going to end up losing money.

Final Thoughts

Overall I think this is a very good course and I definitely think Larry Lubarsky is more than legit.

The course walks you through all the steps to succeed and provides bonuses so you can continue learning and get help with any problems you might face.

My only problem here is the price and the business model.

$2000 is a lot to pay for a course and many people just flat out can't afford that. Add that onto the cost of products and you'll need tens of thousands to succeed here.

This is just the reality of the Amazon FBA business model.

You can't just dip your toes here. This business model requires attention, execution and capital.

It's not for the faint of heart.

Here's A Better Option

Wholesale Academy is good but there's still better courses out there.
