Charles Mizrahi 8-Figure Fortunes Review

Charles Mizrahi is out with a new stock-picking service, and it's called 8 Figure Fortunes.

It focuses on small-cap stocks and uses Mizrahi's "Alpha-3 Approach."

Is this a legit newsletter or another investing scam?

We'll tackle this question in this review.

A Horrible Company Owns This Newsletter

Before we get into who Charles Mizrahi is and what 8 Figure Fortunes is offering, I want to talk about the company that distributes this newsletter.

Banyan Hill is the publisher Charles works at, and Banyan Hill is owned by Agora.

Agora is an extremely predatory company and has been fined for committing fraud in the past.

What makes the fraud so terrible is that it was committed against some of the most vulnerable people on earth, senior citizens.

Agora makes hundreds of millions of dollars a year, though.

So this really isn't that big of a deal.

Truth in Advertising has proven that they're still up to their old tricks when it comes to seniors.

Once you sign up for an Agora product, it becomes clear you're there to be milked for your money.

Their sales funnels and marketing are extremely aggressive and, in almost every case, very manipulative.

The worst part is that most of the products are low quality and don't beat the market.

Many will lose you money.

So it's very hard to recommend any newsletter that has the Agora stink on it.

I don't think Eight Figure Fortunes will be good enough to overcome the baggage associated with Agora.

Charles Track Record Isn't Great

I reviewed Charles Mizrahi's flagship newsletter, Alpha Investor, last year.

And in that review, I detailed a bunch of stock picks he's made in the past, and the results weren't great.

Here's a look at these stock picks so you know what I mean:

Innoviz Technologies in August 2021

Last year, Charles ran a teaser campaign with the title "#1 Autonomous Vehicles Stock Of The Decade."

The company he's talking about is Innoviz Technologies, and they were in the LiDAR (light detection and radar) market.

At the time, they weren't earning any real revenue but had struck a deal with BMW.

Here's how the stock has performed since then:

It's done very badly and has lost more than half of its value since the recommendation.

Cerner in March 2021

In March 2021, Charles Schwab ran a campaign called "IOMT: The Hottest Stock to Buy Right Now."

IOMT stands for "Internet of Medical Things."

They're basically medical devices that you wear.

The company he's talking about is called Cerner.

At the time of this pitch, they were a major player in this field and had a relationship with about a third of US hospitals.

Here's how the stock has performed:

The stock has done well in the last year and is up around 25%.

Zuora in April 2021

Zuora is a company that Charles pitched in April 2021.

The presentation claimed Zuora was doing well in the SOE market (subscription of everything).

Essentially, they build subscription products and benefit from the rental economy (as opposed to the buyer economy).

However, the stock hasn't done well in the last year:

Iridium in February 2020

In February 2020, Charles Schwab ran a very sensational teaser presentation with the title "The #1 True Alpha Stock to Own Right Now."

The company being hinted at is Iridium, and Charles claimed it had a "virtual monopoly on global communications.

Many investors believe this is a very long-term stock buy, but it has gone up since the recommendation:

It's nothing significant, but it's moving in the right direction.

The Brink's Co. in May 2019

In 2019, Charles made the claim Brink's was "Wall Street's best marijuana stock secret."

Brinks doesn't actually grow marijuana or anything like that.

They are an armored truck company that transfers money.

At the time of this teaser, they had struck some deal with marijuana growers to transfer their money.

The reason Charles is calling this a marijuana stock is because marijuana stocks were really big a few years ago.

This is what people like Charles typically do: they hop on trends.

Here's how Brinks has performed since the recommendation:

It crashed pretty badly during COVID and got back to breakeven point for a little.

Overall, it hasn't performed well.

So 3/5 of the teasers have been losers, with 2/5 being moderate winners.

Overall, if you invested an equal amount in all of these stocks, you'd be down.

What Is 8 Figure Fortunes?

8 Figure Fortunes is a new newsletter from Charles, and it focuses on small-cap stocks.

These are investment ideas that Charles believes will get 500% to 1000% returns.

Although, if you go through Charles's picks from his previous newsletter, that doesn't seem very likely.

Charles uses what he calls his "Alpha 3 Approach" to pick stocks.

This means Mizrahi targets companies that:

• Participate in markets with long runways of growth.
• are run by great CEOs.
• Have stocks been mispriced by Wall Street?

Additionally, he claims that "Once I find a company that meets all three of the filters for my Alpha-3 Approach, I look to see if there are any extra catalysts surrounding it that could make its stock soar into the stratosphere."

8 Figure Fortune's First Stock Pick

Charles is marketing his newsletter the same way he's marketed his previous newsletters.

This means he's releasing stock teasers that hype up an investment, and you have to pay to learn the stock.

Charles released his first teaser and left enough clues in the presentation to figure out the stock.

The teaser title is "#1 Small Cap Oil Stock Of 2023," and Charles claims it would be "Warren Buffet's first choice" if he could invest in small-cap companies.

The mystery company behind this teaser is Paramount Resources.

You'll get a breakdown of whether or not this is a good investment.

The main positives about this company are that they don't have any real debt and pay a good dividend.

However, the success of the stock relies on crude oil remaining high for the foreseeable future.

Wrapping Things Up

So that's the end of my review of Charles Mizrahi's 8 Figure Fortune.

This newsletter is nothing special or unique.

There are a million newsletters that focus on small-cap stocks, and Agora sells dozens of the same type of newsletter.

My guess is this newsletter won't beat the market, and customers will be dissatisfied with the results.

It is early, though.

So I can't really judge the performance yet.

All I can do is look at Charles' past stock picks and look at the company that owns them.

Both aren't impressive, so my hopes aren't high.
