Main Street Ventures is a premium investing service from Jason Williams.
He claims he can help you turn a small stake into $1 million with angel investing.
Is he being serious or is this all one big scam?
You'll get an answer to that in this review and more.
Additionally, you'll get background information on Jason, a look at his track record and more.
You'll know if Main Street Ventures is worth it by the time you're done reading.
Let's get started!
Main Street Venture Summary
Creator: Jason Williams
Price to join: $1,499
Do I recommend? Not really
Overall rating: 2.5/5
Main Street Venture seems a little to niche for me.
Your entire investing strategy shouldn't be angel investing because it's risky and you also need a good amount of money to get started.
Jason claims these are $100 deals but you'll need more than that to see any decent return on investment.
If you have some extra money to gamble maybe this can work.
But I don't think this is a product most people will need.

A Bad Company Owns This Service
Let's just address the biggest red flag with Main Street Venture first..
This service is published by Angel Publishing which is owned by Agora.
Agora is a massive publishing company that owns dozens of publishers and sells hundreds of financial products.
The problem is this company is extremely predatory and it's very rare for me to recommend one of their products.
Here's an example of their predatory behavior:
Agora just recently paid millions in fines for defrauding senior citizens.
However, Agora makes hundreds of millions every year so $2 million is nothing to them.
It's simply not enough to deter them from their unethical practices.
Truth In Advertising has proven they haven't changed a thing:
Is this a company you really want to give your money to?
I personally wouldn't.
There's more to consider when it comes to Agora as well..
Once you buy from them you become a target for all their upsells.
Every single day you'll be bombarded with offers that cost thousands of dollars per year.
Many of which aren't high quality and get bad results.
Agora uses every dirty tactic in their arsenal to get you to buy.
This can mean trying to scare you, shame you, manipulate you with long presentations, etc.
It's just a headache dealing with Agora.
The only time I recommend a product from them is if the product is especially high quality.
That's not the case with Main Street Venture.

What Is The Investing Strategy?
The investing strategy for Main Street Venture is different than most products I review.
Instead of investing stocks you'll be looking for angel investing opportunities.
Angel Investing is when you pay to fund a startup company in hopes of it going public or getting acquired by a larger company.
Typically to be an angel investor you need at least a $1 million net worth and make six figures, etc.
However, Jason Williams is promising to give you angel investing opportunities that cost under $100.
On the sales page Jason is definitely over exaggerating the profits you can make.
For example, he claims you can turn a $100 investment into $100,000 or even $1 Million.
I just have a hard time believing that can happen.
If you bought $100 worth of Bitcoin in 2013 it wouldn't be worth $1 million.
So the only real way to make money being an angel investor is to have a good amount to invest.
If you don't meet the standards for being an accredited investor ($1 million net worth, 6 figure salary,) I wouldn't bother.

Main Street Venture FAQ's
Still have some questions about this service?
Here's some answers to any remaining questions you might have?
1) How Much Does Main Street Venture Cost?
This service will cost $1,499 per year.
This isn't really an introductory product.. it's more of an upsell Angel Publishing will sell you after you buy one of their services.
It's definitely pricey but there's products that cost more.
2) Is There A Refund Policy?
Yes and I'm actually pleasantly surprised with how good it is.
You get 6 months to get your money back.
The reason this is surprising is these expensive services typically don't offer money back guarantees.
Instead they usually offer a credit or something like that.
Additionally, if you don't get at least 6 angel deals that potentially double your money you'll get another year of Main Street Ventures free.
So overall a very good refund policy.
3) Is Jason Williams Legit?
This is now the third product I've reviewed from Jason Williams.. the other two are The Wealth Advisory and Future Giants.
There's a ceiling to how legit an Agora employee can be in my opinion.
Only a certain kind of person could work for them and engage in the marketing that they do.
Everything is so overhyped and misleading.
When you combine Jason's background and performance I'd say he's pretty legit, though.
4) Is Angel Investing For Everyone?
I guess it could be.
Typically you would need millions to be an angel investor but according to Jason this new law Congress passed makes it easier for smaller investors.
He claims you only need $100 for most deals.
Angel investing is risky, though, and you can lose 100% of your investment if the company fails.
So you shouldn't mind risk.

Main Street Venture Pros And Cons
Main Street Venture Conclusion
In some ways Main Street Venture is a lot like other newsletters I've reviewed.. in other ways it's completely different.
The way it's marketed and the ways it's run is like 100 other investing newsletters.
However, the angel investing aspect is new.
I guess for some people this can be a viable investing strategy.
I just have a hard time you can $100 your way into riches.
This seems like an investing strategy that requires a lot of money.
Not only a lot of money per investment.. you also need to diversify.
I'm guessing most angel investments will lose money but the big winners will overcome your losses.
So this means you'll need to spread your money over a lot of different investments.
Maybe for some people this will be viable.
For most people I'd recommend just sticking to stocks.
Here's A Better Opportunity
Main Street Ventures is new so it's hard to tell how successful this newsletter will be.
It wouldn't hurt to wait for more results to come out before buying.
