Manward Letter Summary

Creator: Andy Snyder

Price to join: $49 to $129 per year

Do I recommend? It depends

   Overall rating: 3/5

Manward Letter is a decent investing newsletter.

Some of the picks pay off really well while others haven't

I'd like this product more if it weren't owned by Agora.. Agora is a terrible company that produces a lot of scams.

3 Things To Know About Manward Letter

Before we get into what is being offered at Manward Letter, let's take a look at some important background information.

This is what you should know about this service:

1) I Can't Verify Anything About Andy Snyder's Past

I review a lot of investing services and newsletters.

One thing that always jumps out at me is how deceitful this industry is.

The amount of fabrications and outright lies some of these people running investing newsletters tell is incredible.

From my experience I've learned to never just trust what any of these guys say without 100% proof and verification - even better if it comes from a third party source.

Andy Snyder claims he worked for an asset management company that managed $100 billion in assets.

A red flag is Andy doesn't name this company or the reason he left.

From searching through FINRA records I believe the company was Edward Jones.. but he was only there for one year.

I'd like to know why he left so soon.

Besides that Andy is very vague about his past which means it's hard to tell how legit he is.

2) A Horrible Company Owns Manward Press

I listened to an interview with Andy and something jumped out at me.. apparently he used to write for The Oxford Club.

The Oxford Club has been around for a while but is own by a despicable company called Agora.

In the interview Andy talks about how he would wake up at 4 AM to work on his passion project Manward Press.

He then states he left Oxford Club and started Manward full time on his own.

At first I took this as a good sign because I rarely recommend Agora products.

But then I did some digging and it turns out Agora owns Manward as well:

Agora is the largest distributor of financial newsletters but they also produce the most scam financial newsletters.

Here's what you need to know about Agora before buying Manward Letter.

A Long History Of Scamming The Elderly

The elderly tend to be easy targets for online scams.

They didn't grow up with the internet and aren't internet savvy like younger generations.

The FBI believes older folks lose about $1 billion a year to online scams.

I think we can agree that if you target elderly people you're a complete scumbag..

Agora is constantly targeting boomers with scams.

They've been fined millions of dollars for doing so.

It's not just financial scams either - Agora sells various health products as well.

They were fined millions for selling older people fake diabetes cures.

Agora runs ads targeting people with cancer and other serious medical conditions as well:

You have to be absolutely soulless to do this kind of stuff.

And despite being fined millions they continue to go after seniors.

Gross.

They Hire Legitimate Scammers

Another thing about Agora is they will hire literally anyone.

One of their biggest stars is a guy named Teeka Tiwari.

On an Agora run website they claim Teeka is a former successful hedge fund manager and Wall Street veteran.

They go on to claim he started selling newsletters because he wanted to "teach individual investors how to grow their money safely through asymmetrical investments."

This isn't true, though.

Teeka is literally banned from Wall Street for unethical behavior and can't be a broker because of it.

So he had to turn to newsletters to make money.

Now you know why I want to know more about Andy's background and why he's not on Wall Street anymore.

You can't trust these guy's stories.

Expensive Upsells

Manward Letter may not be very expensive but there's a reason for this.

This product is just meant to get you in the door so later Agora can sell you more expensive services.

Once you buy any product from Agora your inbox is going to explode with promotional offers.

I mean up to 30 or so a day.

Your email that you used to sign up will become completely useless because of this.

Some of these promotions will cost upwards of $25,000.

This is a big reason I don't like recommending Agora products even if they are legit.

You might get suckered into buying a very expensive service that isn't legit.

3) Andy Has Decent Recommendations

The reason I'm on the fence about recommending Manward Latter (despite being an Agora products) is Andy can pick good investments

Through the years Andy has run marketing campaigns teasing stock picks.

Here's a look at how some of them have performed:

Loral Space And Communications In February 2021

A little over a year ago Snyder ran a teaser campaign with the title "Pre-IPO Opportunity of Our Lifetimes."

This opportunity hyped something called a  "6G Superstar."

It was a merger between Loral Space And Communications and Telesat.

When the teaser ran the stock was under Loral Space And Communications but would turn into Telesat by the end of the year (this was all explained in the presentation).

Here's how the stock has performed:

The stock was around $27 when recommended and doubled in just 6 months.

If you bought and sold in that time period you would be pretty happy.

However, if you held onto it after it became Telesat, you would not be happy:

The stock plummeted when the actual merger happened.

Limelight Networks In July 2020

This marketing campaign hinted at something called "Atlas Technology" and Snyder called it "the must buy $5 tech stock."

In the teaser the company hinted makes technology that half a million businesses use and Apple was investing millions into the technology.

The stock being teased is LimeLight Networks which helps website speed.

This stock hasn't performed that well since being announced by Snyder:

It did lose most of its value over the next 18 months but is recovering since then.

If you held on through the low point this stock might pay out eventually.

Ripple Cryptocurrency In February 2019

In 2019 Manward ran a very political teaser asking the question "Will Trump Publicly Back "USA" Coin?"

Most of Manward subscribers are right leaning and libertarian so this kind of headline really works for Snyder.

The crypto being teased was Ripple Cryptocurrency (XRP).

Here's how the coin has done since 2019:

This crypto has performed very well and went from $0.29 to over $1.75 at one point.

That's a huge return and anyone who invested in February 2019 is happy with their results so far.

Manward Letter Overview

Manward Letter is an investing newsletter that focuses on different assets - the goal is to help you build a profitable portfolio.

You can find stocks, cryptos and more here.

Here's a breakdown of everything you get:

Newsletter

This is the main part of the offer.

If you buy Manward Letter you get a monthly newsletter that covers various opportunities in the stock and crypto world.

Each newsletter comes with one new investment idea, so you get 12 in total for the year.

With this you also get access to their model portfolio.

This means you'll have an opportunity to build your portfolio right away and get tons of investment ideas.

Additionally, you get:

  • Training videos
  • Archives of past letters
  • Weekly alerts
  • Webinars

Two Killer Crypto Coins That will Be Bigger Than Bitcoin

You get various special report when you sign up with Manward Letter.

The current special report being teased looks at two coins Snyder believes will be bigger than crypto.

The first crypto being teased is Cardano.

Cardano is an improvement on Ethereum and was created by one of Ethereum's co-founders, Charles Hoskinson

Another selling point about this crypto is it's greener than previous cryptos, which take a lot of energy to mine.

Cardano has not done well since the launch of this special report, though:

This is a long term investment, though, and crypto is volatile.

But Andy did market this coin has getting ready to explode in the next three months:

So maybe one day it will payout but those who invested back in September aren't joyous at the moment.

The other crypto being teased is Internet Computer (ICP).

Apparently Internet Computer is a public blockchain network made to host smart contracts.

ICP is the crypto used on the platform.

When the report was announced ICP was $50 and now it's $21.. so it lost more than half of its value.

Again, crypto has their ups and downs.

This is more of a coin you hold for years and hope it breaks out.

Not doing well so far, though.

Along with these two reports you get all the reports of the past as well.

Many of these are the teasers we looked at in the last section.

Manward Letter FAQ's

You might still have some questions about Manward Letter.

Here's answers to any remaining questions you might have left:

1) How Much Does Manward Letter Cost?

There's a couple different prices for Manward Letter.

The first option is to pay $129 per year and you get digital and print options of Manward Letter.

The second option is to just get a digital version of Manward and pay $49 for the first year and then $79 for every year after.

This is what you would expect for an introductory newsletter and is fair.

Just keep in mind.. every publisher has a marketing funnel and Agora has a very aggressive one.

You're going to be pressured to buy more expensive programs once you buy Manward Letter.

These other programs from Agora (that cost up to $25,000+) are not worth it.

2) Is There A Refund Policy?

Manward does something that I hate.

Up top you'll see the refund policy for Manward Letter is 365 days, no questions asked full refund.

This is good.

BUT they don't offer refunds for their more expensive products.

Once you buy the more expensive products the refunds just give you credits towards other Manward products.

Why offer a refund for the cheap product and not the more expensive ones?

3) Is Andy Snyder Legit?

I would say this is yet to be determined.

On one hand he does seem to know what he's talking about and is passionate about investing.

He's a big time Libertarian and you can see that in his investment advice.

Also, some of his picks are good and others have the potential to be good in a few years.

However, there's some questions I have about him and his past.

Why did he leave Wall Street?

What made him start working with Agora?

What are his returns from the last few years?

If I knew the answer to these three questions I could give you a definitive answer.

But since Andy is skimpy on details we'll just leave it at maybe, maybe not.

4) What Are Common Manward Letter Customer Complaints

Manward Letter is decently reviewed by customers but there definitely are customer complaints.

One thing customers don't like is Andy just says to buy things without a price to buy at.

This could be because a lot of these picks are cryptos with enormous upside and what you buy at won't matter.

Still many customers want more insights on that kind of stuff:

Additionally, some people think Andy is nuts and a conspiracy theorist.

Because his predictions are very alarmist and off the wall people don't trust him.

I'll let you in on a little secret, though..

Andy probably doesn't believe half the stuff he writes and is just marketing to a certain kind of audience.. an audience that's more right wing and conspiratorial.

5) How Much Do I Need To Invest?

I'd say you want at least $5,000 to invest with if you sign up to Manward Letter.

There's a portfolio with dozens of assets to invest in and there's a new pick every month.

You need capital to be completely involved with this service.

Manward Letter Pros And Cons

Pros
  • Good price: The price is affordable and is good for an entry level newsletter.
  • Decent picks: Not all of Andy's picks pay off but some of them pay off really well. Others may be better in the long term.
  • Good refund policy: The more expensive products at Manward don't offer a refund policy but Manward Letter does offer a 365 day refund.
Cons
  • Agora product: Agora is a very unethical company and I don't like recommending their products.
  • Upsells: The second you buy this product you'll be pressured to buy much more expensive ones.
  • Some stinkers: Some of Andy's picks have done pretty bad.
  • Overhyped marketing: Much of the marketing can be alarmist or too over the top. I personally don't like that.

Manward Letter Conclusion

I guess the only question left to answer now is whether I recommend Manward Letter or not.

To be honest I'd be more comfortable recommending it if it weren't owned by Agora.

Anytime you're dealing with Agora you're going to get unethical marketing, random credit card charges, bad customer service, constant upselling and more bad things.

Manward Letter intrigues me but does it intrigue me enough to deal with all of Agora's bull crap?

Probably not to be honest.

If you are going to buy Manward Letter don't take the marketing too seriously.

And whatever you do don't buy anything more expensive unless this newsletter pays off.

If the picks aren't good with Manward Letter, they won't be good with the more expensive programs.

Here's A Better Opportunity

Manward Letter isn't terrible but the company that owns it is.

I'd probably pass because of that.

The good news is there's still a lot of good places to get stock picks.
