Profit Surge Trader is a new investing newsletter run by Nate Bear.

He claims he can help you make money by focusing on one stock per month.

Is he telling the truth, or is this another investing scam?

We'll get to the bottom of this question in this review.

Additionally, we'll take a look at what you're actually being offered and if there are any red flags for this newsletter.

You'll know if it's worth it by the time you're done reading.

Let's get started!

Profit Surge Trader Summary

Creator: Nate Bear

Price to join: $279 per year

Do I recommend? No

   Overall rating: 2/5

Profit Surge Trader is a gimmicky investing service that's very similar to One Ticker Trader.

I never trust these short-term trading systems because customer reviews are always horrible.

But the idea is that you'll get sent one stock to focus on per month and get alerts when to buy and sell.

The goal is to time the dips perfectly, but there are going to be issues.

Unless you can input the trades the second Nate sends his alerts out, you'll end up getting different results than him.

To top everything off, the company that owns this newsletter (Agora) is extremely predatory and known for ripping off customers.

Beware Of Any Agora Product

There's a little secret when it comes to investing newsletters.

Only a handful are truly "independent," while the rest are owned by massive companies.

One of the biggest of them all is Agora, and they're also one of the most predatory companies you can imagine.

This is the company that owns Monument Traders Alliance, which publishes Profit Surge Trader.

Here's just a taste of how bad Agora is and how they treat their customers:

Does it get any lower than defrauding elderly people?

Essentially, Agora made bogus claims to senior citizens on how they could make money and scammed millions in the process.

This is just how Agora operates (without conscious awareness).

Agora does other things to its customers that are pretty horrible.

If you buy their newsletter, you'll be thrown into an aggressive marketing funnel.

You'll be sold products that cost thousands of dollars a year in the most unethical ways imaginable.

Agora will promise these massive returns that won't ever materialize.

Their customer service is horrible, and it'll be really hard to get your money back.

Most of their services don't even offer money-back guarantees.

So I'd avoid Profit Surge Trader based on the fact that it's owned by Agora, and that's never a good thing.

Do You Trust Warren Buffet Or Nate Bear?

The creator of Profit Surge Trader Is Nate Bear, who is someone that I've never heard of before.

He claims to be a regular guy who became a millionaire from trading.

Is this story true?

Who knows. Stock pickers like to stretch the truth and make up lies about themselves all the time.

What I do know, though, is that Nate Bear trades based on technical analysis, which I believe is a bad way to trade.

And I'm not the only one who thinks this, by the way. People like Warren Buffet dislike technical analysis (which I'll show you in a sec).

Technical analysis is when you make investments based on price movement.

So you look at a graph and make your picks based on certain recognizable patterns.

Here's a screenshot of Nate explaining a pattern:

People who trade with technical analysis usually like to get profits quickly.

This is the opposite of Warren Buffet, who is considered the best investor of all time.

Warren Buffet doesn't look at charts or technical analysis.

Instead, he actually learns about the company he's investing in.

He looks at the fundamentals of the stock, the competition, and the company before investing.

And most importantly, he only invests in companies he believes in and plans on sticking with for a decade.

Warren Buffet is actually openly hostile towards technical analysis and has this to say about it:

So now you have a choice.

Would you rather invest like Nate Bear (a guy who I just heard about and is employed by Agora) or the best investor of all time?

What Is Being Offered?

This newsletter is very similar to other newsletters already out there.

Here's what you get if you buy Profit Surge Trader:

Weekly Trade Alerts

Once a month, Nate will reveal a company that he believes will have the biggest "earnings profit surge."

After Nate reveals this company, you'll then get weekly buy and sell signals.

Your goal is to time everything perfectly and buy before it surges and sell before it dips.

Here's a screenshot of the method in action:

The problem with this strategy (beyond the technical analysis) is that it needs to be done at the exact right time.

There's going to be a delay between Nate recommending a stock and you being able to buy or sell the stock.

So you'll never get the same results as Nate.

This can lead to scenarios where you lose money and Nate makes money.

Live Trading

When the week begins, Nate will go live for all Profit Surge Trader customers.

Nate will be going over his trading plan for the week.

Additionally, he'll go over what he's looking for and how he plans on profiting.

Bonuses

Lastly, there are a few bonsues that act like sweeteners.

The reports right now are:

  • One-Ticker Payouts
  • The $2.7 Million Profit System
  • How to Profitably Trade Options

These reports will mainly teach you the trading strategy that Nate uses.

Profit Surge Trader FAQ's

Still have questions about Profit Surge Trader?

Here are the answers to any remaining questions you might have:

1) How much does Surge Profit Trader cost?

There are a few different price points, but the most popular seems to be $279 per year.

This will give you everything that I mentioned in the previous section.

Agora does this weird thing where their most expensive subscription gives you less than their second-highest subscription.

So the $279 subscription will actually give you more than the $329 subscription.

I honestly think they're tricking customers into thinking they're drinking Agora and getting a better deal.

Just remember, after you buy this newsletter, you'll be sent many upgrades to buy more expensive newsletters.

2) Is there a refund policy?

Yes, you get a full year to get your money back.

Now you might be thinking this is a great refund deal.

And on the surface, it is.

However, Agora is a massive company, and they haven't made billions by giving refunds back.

The trick is that Agora doesn't give refunds on their expensive products.

So if you do end up buying one of the upsells, there's no way to get your money back.

3) Is Nate Bear legit?

I have a hard time calling anyone who works with Agora legit.

You have to have loose morals to engage in the kind of marketing they do.

Additionally, I don't trust technical analysis, and I have a hard time believing Nate made millions of dollars that way.

But in the end, he's sort of a no-namer, and it's hard to find information on him.

He has a YouTube channel with a thousand subscribers.

Outside of that, I couldn't really find anything about him.

4) Are there similar newsletters?

I would say One Ticker Trader and Jeff Clark Trader are the two closest.

One Ticker is the same concept.

You get one stock per month and then make trades and get alerts from the creator.

Jeff Clark Trader is pretty similar in that it focuses on one ticker.

However, Jeff doesn't change the ticker.

I wouldn't recommend any of these services, though, because they get very bad customer reviews.

Here's A Better Opportunity

I'd personally pass on Profit Surge Trader.

I don't trust the company that owns the strategy being used, and I don't trust Nate.

The good news is that there are stock-picking services that are worth it.
