Hey there!
Have you been approached to join Farmasi and are wondering if this cosmetic company is a scam?
If so this review is for you.
Below you'll find everything you need to know about this company including background information, price to join, compensation plan, product overview and more.
You'll know if Farmasi is right for you by the time you're done reading.
Let's get into it!
Farmasi Summary
Company: Farmasi
Price to join: $19
Rating: 65/100
Do I recommend? Not really (only if you have an audience already)
Summary: Farmasi is Multi-Level Marketing company that's seen a lot of growth in the last few years.
In terms of MLM's, Farmasi is one of the better ones out there - their products are ethically made, well priced and the commissions are 50% which is very good.
Despite all this I still wouldn't recommend that you join because MLM's are historically extremely difficult to succeed with.
I'd only join if you already have an audience to sell to or you're dead set on building an audience to sell to.

Farmasi FAQ's
1) What is Farmasi? Farmasi is a Turkey based MLM that's seen a lot of growth in the last few years. As of 2019 they're selling in 25 different markets and recently entered USA's market.
Farmasi started in 2004 which means Farmasi has been around for 15 years (very good for a MLM)
2) How do you make money here? Like I said this company is Multi-Level Marketing which means you can make money by selling their products for commission on your own.
Also, you get paid for recruiting and building your downline. Recruiting may sound like a good way to make money but it's extremely flawed which I'll explain in the next couple of sections.
3) Are there any red flags? None that I could fine. In fact, they seem to run a pretty ethical company and don't test on animals and conserve water.
4) Are there any similar companies? There's many cosmetic MLM's out there including Monat, MasCara Beauty, Beautycounter, Rodan + Fields, and more.
Is Farmasi A Pyramid Scheme?
No.
Pyramid schemes are illegal to operate in all parts of the world and while some MLM's turn out to be a pyramid scheme, Farmasi is not one of them.
To understand what I mean, look at the picture below:
If the ENTIRE commission structure looks like the picture above you're in a pyramid scheme. This happens when recruiting is the only way to make money and there's no real products to sell.
Farmasi has real products to sell and you can make money with them without recruiting - you can just sell their products and earn a commission that way.
You do get rewarded for recruiting in Farmasi but there's a large focus on retail sales which keeps it from being an outright pyramid scheme.
Success Will Be Very Hard
Here's the thing:
Even though Farmasi is one of the better MLM's out there it's still going to be very difficult to make any real money here.
Overall, many studies show that 99% of people that join a MLM actually lose money instead of make money.
So if a 100 people join a MLM, only 1 person will make more than a single dollar.
Farmasi has an income disclaimer on their website where they state:
"Based on industry standards and company projections, the average annual gross revenue for Entrepreneurs is projected to be anywhere between $500 and $2,000. Please note: These numbers do not reflect the expenses associated with building an Farmasi business, which could exceed the commissions received."
$500 to $2000 is not very good for a years worth of work and most people in third world countries make more than that.
The reason it's so difficult to make money with a MLM is most people have no audience to sell to when they get started and don't have enough friends to make any real money off of.
This leads people to try and recruit their way to riches which also has disastrous results.
Below is some even more mind blowing MLM stats:
As you can see you'll want to avoid pretty much all MLM's which is why I don't recommend Farmasi.
How Much To Join Farmasi?
The price to join Farmasi is very good and it's only $19.99 (this gets you a starter kit).
There's other costs involved in running a business that you'd have to factor in but to be eligible to sell for Farmasi is $19.99 which is fair.
Farmasi Compensation Plan
MLM compensation plans are very hard to understand and Farmasi, while not as confusing as the worst, is still pretty difficult to understand if you're unfamiliar with MLM's.
Here's the graph Farmasi uses to describe their compensation plan:
I'll sum up everything to help you a bit.
Affiliate Ranks:
At Farmasi there's 17 affiliate ranks represented by the picture above with Boss being the last rank you can achieve.
You go from one rank to another by hitting certain sales and recruiting goals and you get different bonuses for going from one rank to another.
Mainly you get to earn more off your downline as you go up in rank.
Retail Sales:
This is the part of the compensation plan that rewards sales to customers and doesn't involve recruitment.
The commission rate is very high here and you can make 50% per sale you make.
Residual Commissions:
Residual commissions are what you earn off your downline. This looks like the picture below:
How much you make depends on the amount the people below you sell and your affiliate rank.
The higher the rank you are the higher the percentage you earn from and further down the pyramid you can earn from.
Extra Bonuses:
There's smaller bonuses you can earn too that are less important. If you want to know every single detail of the entire compensation plan, watch the video below:
Farmasi Products
I'm an expert at making money online and I can tell you whether a business is worth getting involved in.
I can look at a complicated compensation plan and tell you what it means, I can look at statistics and tell you what they mean and I can tell you about success rates.
I, however, am not an expert in makeup or anything really girly.
So I don't really have an opinion on the quality of the makeup or whether people will like them or not.
From the different reviews I've read people seem to like them and the prices seem fair.
One thing I did notice is there are A LOT of different products offered by this company.
Many times you see a MLM only has one main product and maybe a few other products but Farmasi has hundreds of different products including products for your:
- Feet
- Hair
- Skin
- Teeth
- Lips
- Eyes
- Children
and more. There's many different makeups and cosmetics too.
Also, this company seems to operate with a conscious and are openly against testing on animals. They seem to be environmentally conscious as well when making their products.
What I Like About Farmasi
There's a lot to like about Farmasi and the main things I like about Farmasi is:
- Affordable to join: Some MLM's will cost you thousands to join but that's not the case here. Farmasi will only cost $19 which is very fair (you even get products for that).
- Quality products: I'm not a makeup expert but their products seem well made and get good reviews. They're also pretty affordable which is nice to see.
- Environmentally sound: Farmasi seems to go out of their way to make sure their products don't harm the environment and they don't test animals.
What I Don't Like About Farmasi
I think the bad outweighs the good here and the main things I don't like are:
- Low success rate: Even though Farmasi is one of the better MLM's out there the average person makes between $500 to $2000 a year. There's definitely better and easier ways to make more than that.
- Bothering friends and family: If you already have an audience (like a beauty blog or instagram account with a lot followers) I would definitely sign up to sell their products. If not you're going to have to turn to family members and friends and it's not going to be enough to make any real money.
Is Farmasi A Scam?
No but I think it's a bad business opportunity for most people.
In terms of MLM's Farmasi is definitely one of the better ones. This is because of their strong product line up and their high commission rates.
Even with that, though, Farmasi can't escape the fate of most people making little to know money (with a large portion losing money).
Some people will make good money but the overwhelming majority won't.
I would recommend being a customer for this company but not trying to sell for them.
Here's A Better Opporuntiy
Hopefully by now you've decide you're going to pass on Farmasi.
However, there's still plenty of ways to make money from home and online.
I started making money online as a complete beginner and have made over 6 figures since.
