Michael Robinson’s iPhone Killer Stock REVEALED

Mark Robinson of Trend Trader Daily is out with a new stock presentation.

And in this one, he takes aim at one of the most successful products of all time: the iPhone.

He believes there's an "iPhone Killer" that's coming soon.

However, he wants you to subscribe to his newsletter, Digital Fortunes, to get the company's name.

But he left enough clues in the presentation to figure out the name of the stock ticker.

I reveal it below, along with information on the company, so you can determine if it's a good investment or not.

I'm sure if you watched Michael Robinson's presentation on the "iPhone Killer," you have a ton of questions.

Here are answers to any remaining questions you might have:

1) What is the theme of this teaser?

Stock pickers love to invoke the names of famous people or big-name products to reel in a potential customer.

"Elon Musk's worth a nightmare." "Jeff Bezo's newest venture."

things of that nature.

In this teaser, Michael Robinson of Trend Trader Daily is using the biggest product of all time to get your attention: the iPhone!

2/3 of the world's population owns smartphones, and over 90% of people in America have one.

Apple is the biggest maker of smartphones in the world.

According to Michael Robinson, something is going to bring back this incredibly successful phone.

And it's not a rival or competing smart phone.

It's Apple itself!

According to Robinson, Apple may be in a "creative destruction" phase with their iPhones.

This means they'll slowly start destroying their best-selling product to introduce another product to take its place.

That product?

Augmented reality glasses

2) Is the iPhone really going away?

Stock pickers sure do like painting pictures of the future and making predictions based on them.

But despite using the term "iPhone killer," the iPhone is going nowhere.

Not even Robison believes this is going to happen.

However, it is possible that Apple will introduce AR glasses.

But there are always rumors of Apple releasing new products, and the dates for these launches are always pushed back.

There's been a rumor for an Apple car for nearly a decade now, and there's still no car.

And even if Apple were to launch AR glasses, I doubt they would come even close to the popularity of the iPhone.

In 2022, it was estimated that the AR glasses market share would be just over $1 billion.

Do you know how much the market share for smart phones is?

$500 billion!!

Apple accounts for about 1/3 of that market share as well.

So the iPhone alone is 166 times bigger than the entire AR glasses market share.

Additionally, successful products from Apple like the Apple Watch show Apple creates products to pair with the iPhone, not destroy.

Apparently 30% of iPhone owners now have an Apple watch.

Even with the success of the Apple Watch, these products are still a small fraction of Apple.

The iPhone still makes way more.

And I personally don't see AR glasses getting as big as the Apple Watch.

3) For what company is Michael Robinson pitching?

Alright, so now you know my thoughts on the whole augmented reality glasses thing and Apple.

Let's get back to the presentation now.

So what is the company that Robinson is pitching?

Let's examine the clues he left behind in this teaser:

• Small company
• has 180 patents
• Has "holo-core" intellectual property
• Rumors of Apple buying it
• Based in upstate New York

All these clues point to Vuzix Corp. as the mystery company here.

They're located in Rochester, New York, and all of the other clues fit their description too.

They make various AR glasses, and you can see one of their promos below:

Their products are pretty expensive and they all cost over $1000.

Pretty neat but is this company worth investing in?

We'll tackle that in the next section.

4) Is Vuzix worth investing in?

Vuzix is a small company that seems to have a very volatile stock price:

It had a major spike after COVID-19, like a lot of other stocks did, but has since come back down to reality.

These kinds of stocks are not for the skittish.

At any point, it looks like the stock can triple in a short period of time or lose 90% of its value over time.

So if you do choose to invest, try not to get addicted to the day-to-day movements of the stock.

As far as the company goes, I'm not overly impressed with it.

It's been around since the mid-90s and still isn't profitable.

Revenue for Vuzix was just $2.9 million last quarter, but their net income was $-10.76 million.

So they're spending way more money than they're making.

It's not a good sign for a company to still be losing money 25 years after launching.

If they haven't figured it out yet, do you really believe they'll figure it out soon?

Their only chance seems to be if Apple does buy them out, but that's not guaranteed to happen.

There are always rumors swirling about Apple buying smaller companies.

Now when it does happen, there's a huge return, but there are so many rumors that it can be hard to determine which are true and which aren't.

5) Is Digital Fortunes worth buying?

The last question to answer is whether or not the newsletter Michael Robinson is pitching is actually worth buying.

and I personally don't think it is.

This newsletter is your typical stock-picking service, where investment ideas are overhyped and rarely work out as promised.

For example, Robinson claimed earlier this year that an investment idea could get 35,000% returns.

Just shameless behavior in my opinion.

Additionally, this newsletter is owned by a much bigger company called Marketwise, which I don't like.

They're known for their super-aggressive marketing and upsells.

In my opinion, it's all unethical.

So no, I wouldn't advise buying Digital Fortunes or any other service from Trend Trader Daily.

Wrapping Things Up

So that's the end of my write-up of Michael Robinson's "iPhone Killer" stock teaser.

Overall, I'm just skeptical of how popular AR glasses are going to be.

These products have been around for years now, but they just don't seem to be catching on.

You don't see people wearing these things in public.

The Apple Watch is an instance of Apple introducing a new product and it becoming very popular.

But it's still nowhere near as possible as the iPhone.

I'd say there's a 0% chance AR glasses will replace smartphones in popularity.

The biggest chance these products have of success is being able to be paired with smartphones like smart watches can.
