Hey, what's going on?

Today we're going to be reviewing Money Map Report by Shah Gilani.

Shah claims this service targets the best small stocks in America and can help you get massive returns.

Is he telling the truth or is this whole thing a giant scam?

We'll get to the bottom of this in today's review.

Additionally, we'll be looking at important background information, investigating Shah's track record and exposing any red flags.

You'll know if Money Map Press is worth it by the time you're done reading.

Let's get started!

Money Map Report Summary

Creator: Shah Gilani

Price to join: $99 to $139 per year

Do I recommend? No.

   Overall rating: 2/5

There's honestly too many red flags for me to recommend Money Map Press.

It's owned by a horrible company that's been caught defrauding senior citizens.

Additionally, Money Map Press has been fined for misleading customers for this newsletter as well.

The returns just don't seem good enough for me to recommend.

A Horrible Company Owns Money Map Press

The publisher for Money Map Report is Money Map Press.

They've been around for a while and is owned by a massive company called Agora.

Agora is the biggest distributor of investing newsletters and makes HUNDREDS of millions every year.

The problem is they're very unethical and engage in outrageous marketing all the time.

For instance, just last year they were caught defrauding senior citizens and had to pay millions in fines:

$2 million is nothing to a place like Agora, though

They make so much money they'll happily pay this if they can continue to target senior citizens and market in unethical ways.

As Truth In Advertising has proven they haven't changed one bit:

Is this really a company you want to give your money to?

It goes beyond that as well..

The marketing funnels for Agora are extremely intricate and you become a target once you buy anything from Agora or Money Map Press.

Money Map Report is cheap but it's just bait.

Once you sign up you'll be heavily promoted extremely expensive products (thousands of dollars a year) in manipulative ways.

We're talking every single day your inbox being flooded with promotions.

It's annoying and a lot of these products are low quality.

I only recommend an Agora product if it's fantastic - I don't think that's the case with Money Map Report.

Money Map Report Has Misled In The Past

Money Map Report is no different than any other Agora newsletter and operates in the same manner.

The main way these newsletters promote is to put out long stock presentations.

These presentations are usually like a hour long and hype up an investing opportunity.

However, the name of the investment is withheld unless you buy the newsletter.

Often times these stock presentations are extremely misleading and trick people into thinking they're getting a lot of money.

Well in 2017 Money Map Report ran one of these presentations called "Big Tobacco Must Pay."

The jist was big tobacco settled for $206 billion and there was a way for you to collect $2300 a month even if you were unaffected by big tobacco.

Of course this wasn't true and the only thing being pitched were bond investments that had nothing to do with the settlement.

As a result the Attorney General of Oregon sued Money Map Press and had this to say about the whole ordeal:

As a result Money Map Press paid over $140,000 in fines and agreed to change the way they market.

However, if you look at their marketing today it's basically the same.

They still put out the manipulative stock teasers that promise the stars if you sign up for their services.

Shah Gilani Is In Charge Now

When Money Map Report got fined for their marketing the editor was Keith Fitz Gerald.

Now it's run by a guy named Shah Gilani.

He looks like a character out of the Sopranos!

There is actually a lot of mob activity in these financial outlets but we're not accusing anyone of anything here!

According to Shah he's been around the stock market world since the 80's.

He started out trading options on the floor of the Chicago Board of Options.

After bouncing around different companies he launched a couple hedge funds.. they only lasted a few years.

Since then he's been working for Agora.

Shah spent many years working for the Oxford Club (another Agora publisher) and now has a bunch of products at Money Map Press.

Agora is constantly shuffling people around publishers and launching new services this way.

I guess the question you have to ask is why Shah closed his hedge funds down?

An obvious answer would be they weren't performing well.

If you aren't making people money they take their money out.

The stock newsletter business is different and less risky.

You're not managing millions of dollars - you're simply sending out stock picks to regular people.

However, I can't find the name of the hedge funds Shah founded so I can't tell you why they shut down.

But if they performed well you'd imagine he'd name them, right?

What Is Money Map Report Offering?

Money Map Report is your typical investing newsletter and offer.

There's a million other services that offer pretty much the same thing.

Here's what you get:

Money Map Report

This is the core part of the offer and basically what you're paying for.

This newsletter will show you where to invest your money.

The markets you can expect to invest in are retail, energy, technology and any other market getting attention from investors.

Alpha 7 Hotlist

Every month you'll get a rotating list of 3 to 5 stocks that Shah believes is the fastest growing companies.

These are companies that have to meet certain criteria.

Mainly Shah looks at their profits, margins, cash flow, liabilities and more.

Also, they're under $5.

Profit Accelerator Techniques

This is a guide that Shah claims can help you 10X your profits quickly.

You'll learn through a series of videos that break down Shah's investing strategy.

Crypto Warp Speed Profits

Every stock picker feels the need to dabble in crypto these days, which to me seems like a mistake.

I feel like a lot of these guys don't really understand crypto and will lose people money with their recommendations.

To Shah's credit he doesn't recommend cryptos and instead recommends crypto stocks.

One of the companies he mentions is Marathon Digital which gained 12,754% in a year.

This is true but the stock has tanked since its peak like most other crypto investments:

So not really sure crypto is the best thing to be pushing right now.

The Daily Briefings

The Daily Briefings are mini-newsletters you get every day the stock market is open.

You can expect watchlists and updates on the market in these daily newsletters.

Bunch Of Special Reports

Along with everything else you get a bunch of special reports that focus on different investments.

These reports include:

  • $4.6 Billion Health Care Breakthrough presentation
  • Mission Critical technology presentation
  • $4 Ecommerce Rocket presentation
  • $356 Billion Digital Advertising Boom presentation

Money Map Report FAQ's

Still have some questions about this newsletter?

Here's answers to any of the remaining questions you might have?

What Does Money Map Report Cost?

There's two different prices for the first year of this service.

The first is $99 and that comes with every thing that I mentioned in the last section.

Every year after the first year is $139 per year.

The second option is to pay $139 for the first year and every year after and get two extra bonus report.

These reports are:

  • Emerging Moonshot Companies That Could 100X Your Money
  • 5 Cash Cows You'll Want To Own Forever

These prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for an introductory newsletter.

Just remember The Money Map Report is just bait for more expensive products.

After you buy you'll be promoted products from Shah and other Money Map Report people that cost thousands a year.

Many are low quality and not money makers.

Is There A Refund Policy?

There is and you get 60 days to get your money back.

This isn't really enough time to test out the stock picks or anything like that.

However, it will give you enough time to see if you like the service and how the stock picks are delivered.

How Is The Track Record?

After the people who run this newsletter got fined the service seemed to lay low for a while.

Now a new person runs it but historically this newsletter hasn't been well reviewed.

Over 400 people have rated it on Stock Gumshoe and the average score is a dismal 2.2/5:

It doesn't seem like things have gotten better since Shah has taken over either.

Here's one commentor claiming he'd be better off not following Shah's advice:

Other customers are claiming everything is too overhyped which is something you'll find with all Agora products.

Is Shah Gilani Legit?

There's a limit to how legit someone can be if they work for Agora.

I don't think legit people do the marketing they do.. and overhype investments in the way they do.

It's almost like pro-wrestling type entertainment.

Shah claims he has a bunch of stock experience and it's probably true.. but why did he leave the hedge fund world behind?

The top hedge fund owners make billions of dollars.

If I had to guess I'd guess the hedge funds weren't doing well and people took their money out.

But I don't have the name of Shah's hedge funds so I can't be sure.

However, running a newsletter is a lot easier than managing other people's money.

Are There Similar Products?

I've reviewed dozens of Agora newsletters and newsletters that are similar.

Here's just a few:

And there's plenty more.

Money Map Report Pros And Cons

Pros
  • Decent price: I think this newsletter is bait for more expensive products. However, it's not that expensive.
Cons
  • Bad track record: This service is very poorly reviewed by customers. Most give it a bad review.
  • Agora owned: I almost never recommend an Agora product because of how unethical they are.
  • Trouble in the past: This newsletter ended up getting the people at Money Map Press fined over $140,000 for misleading customers.

Money Map Report Conclusion

Money Map Report is just your typical Agora newsletter.

I've reviewed dozens of these services and they're pretty much all the same.

They overhype investments, they use confusing sales presentations to get customers to buy and you get a newsletter with some stock recommendations.

There's nothing that separates this newsletter from any other newsletter already on the market.

Additionally, it has red flags that are hard to ignore.

Customers don't like it, it's owned by Agora, it's gotten the people at Money Map Press in legal problems, etc.

The only good thing is it's so cheap but even that's misleading.

This is just the first product in a much large sales funnel.

The real money for Money Map Press is to get you to upgrade to the products that cost thousands of dollars.

They're going to try every trick in the book to get you to spend more money.

I'd just avoid this newsletter because of all of these problems.

Here's A Better Opportunity

I'd pass on Money Map Report - there's just too much baggage with this newsletter.

The good news is there's still a lot of good places to get stock picks.

I've reviewed all the best places to get good stock ideas.
